  • I had to birds like that Boris and Natasha, Natasha died of cancer and Boris just withered away after she died it was so sad. It was like he gave up after she died, he held on for so many years and about six months ago he just stopped eating. Natasha ended up getting to about 14 years while Boris ended up reaching 19 years. Boris liked older women as well if Natasha had lived she would of been like 21. Its so sad

  • Our cockatiel died of egg with holding =I She was getting old so it was going to happen soon anyways. I feel for you though, birds are such nice social animals it sucks when they go =(

  • OMG i love these guys...its so sad but they are in a better place....god bless

  • what makes me glad is seeing you have so many birds yet seem to keep it clean and tidy. good job!

  • Ohhhh TY! My thought on that would be... PLEASE dont take in animals of any kind you can not properly provide care for.

We have volunteers that come in and give us a break once in a while. That's such a blessing, you can not know unless you were here. :-)

    GOD Bless our volunteers!

  • omg!!! every time i see a cool animal vid the animals ends up being dead.Sorry nacho died. She seemed very nice.

  • We have 20 atm and they are all cool in their way. Nacho was a very cool bird. We miss her. She did live 19 years though and got to have chickie in her older years and i think she definitely slipped away a happy old girl.

  • That was such a heart warming video.

Really shows you what life is all about.

Thanks, My cockatiel Stitch & I loved it.

  • I didn't see a face or hear a scream.

  • OK are you on some channel I'm not on?

  • lol i have a cockatiel but it tweets with a cute squeaky twwet its soo cute! :)

  • 18 years? my bird is almost 8!

  • This video is so adorable!! Can tell you care about your birds very much.. Those two made a great pair!

  • Aww!!!That was really sweet of your bird to take orphan babies! At least she got to live a resonably long life! I'm sorry for your loss.. :(

  • aww, that video is sad in a happy way

  • You're doing a fab job and taking so much care for birds! Your video is beautiful and touching. What happend to Nacho's babies?

  • they went to family homes. We hand fed them. One named spike went to a lady with a huge aviary in her home. We wish we could keep up with people after a year also, It gets hard but many do keep in touch with us for years :-) thats cause they are so proud of thier birds and we praise them for their love.

  • I don't allow any breeding any more, since it is so critical to rescue unwanted birds. I wish we could keep every bird, but thats just not possible.

  • I live in oklahoma may be I could give a bird a loving home! How does this work? I have 2 cockatiels and they are spoiled and loved!

  • Your birds' story just like mine. I have papa (black)and mama (white) and they gave birth of 3 babies in 4.2005 (black w/ yellow head, full black and full white). I love them so much. Several days before, papa died suddenly... :-( He lived in my home for 2and half year only.

  • Yeah thats sad. She had cancer on her ovan ducts. She was actually like 19 years old. Wizzle lives in kernersville now with a family that spoils the heck out of him.

  • Really nice video. Tempts me to help my little mother's eggs hatch, though the vet isn't too keen on it. Those chicks are so cute! Enjoyed your Nacho memorial video, too.

  • Thank you. She is very missed. I still get choked up when I see her.

  • How did Wizzle handle her passing?

  • We had Wizzle for another 7 months. AND THEN we met this AWESOME home schooler and her mother! They adopted him into a perfect permanant environment.

  • P.S. We had Wizzle for 3 and 1/2 years. He was so special to us... I miss the little guy!

  • ugh i need help i have 2 bird eggs i took from my bird cause they keep braking the egg how do i care the eggs myselff

  • you need to LOOK UP TEMP control FAST. then be willing to hand feed babies on a very strict schedual. I hope you are keeping them temp controled as in a called BROODER box. Good luck. let me know if you still have active eggs.

  • So beautiful! I´ve loved that!! Nacho was a very lovely and beautiful bird.

  • Thank you so much. Wizzle just got adopted last week to a wonderful family here in NC, USA that has a ten year old little girl that will be spending many days doing homework with wizzle on her shoulder. :-)

  • omfg you are crazy to have 70 birds.

  • LOL I don't have 70 anymore. I have 12 at the moment. We rescue birds here. That was the last bred bird we raised and adopted.

  • Oh alright. Cool then. :)

  • This is toooo precious. I love your birds and I love your videos. Whoever puts them together is a real artist and the love shows through. God bless your work with these wonderful birds.

  • Thank you very much. Sometimes they are a joy to put together and others are hard to do. They are very special, I'm glad you see the heartfelt message ment from them.

  • wow! thats amazing that you have 70 birds. My three birdies are enough to make my nose stuffed up all the time. You must dedicate most of your time to their care! kudos to you :) great job!!!!

  • I only have 9 at the moment. My time is invested in rescues for the most part. Check out my profile for more videos. Thanks for the kind words.

  • I loved your vid .She lived a long life, and you gave her a happy ending. God bless you all

  • That was cute, we tried breeding out Cinnamon Cockatiels but the eggs never hatched :(

  • Maybe they were too young? just a guess. Sometimes you have to wait a year or so so they can learn how to get it right. If that still doesnt work sometimes they don't hit the spot if that makes sense. You can try clipping around the vent the feathers a little if you know how to handle your birds well. That can help beginners also. Your probably laughing now at the message content. he heh.

  • Thank you Landatoron. So Will I. I enjoy shareing these videos with folks that like or have birds also.

  • They Where so good together. I will miss her.

  • aw that's really nice. I also have a cockatiel

  • What do you have Sourcandys? They are very gentle birds, with a large personality. :-)

  • Wonderful video. My mom has a cockatiel, his name is Buddy. One of the sweetest birds in the world. And he has a little parakeet friend named Little Bit (and Little Bit is just as sweet as Buddy). You are right about the cockatiels being gentle and having big personalities. Wonderful pets and love people.

  • Beautiful story, beautiful birds. I am sorry for your loss. Christine

  • Thanks cmokon, I tried to make the video that closest related to their personalities. They truely were inseperable.

  • That is so sweet!

  • Thank you. Shes a special bird to me.
