The difference is that when we domesticated animals it became or responsibility to take care of them. They cannot take care of themselves because we provide them with what they need, otherwise they are defenseless. That is why people get so worked up over animal abuse it's just wrong and we all know it. Animals are faithful they love and trust us and would never think twice about giving their lives to protect us and our families, humans could take a lesson.

Ok, embarrassing story alert. I had a mouse in my house so I set out one of those sticky traps. Needless to say, since the thing wasn't dead when I found it I felt horrible. I drove a few blocks away, sprayed the thing with pam, and pried him off. He ran off into the woods. I think if some people saw any animal regardless of size in trouble, they may have a soft enough heart to save it... even a chicken...lol.

i would save a dog only if i was properly equipped like the rescuers here. you wouldn't see me go out on the ice without dry suites and flotation devices. No mater what, a dog is a dog, and a Human life trumps a dogs life period. I wouldn't risk my life on a dog. As for these guys, they weren't in danger. they could float around in that water for hours in those suits there was no human life at risk here, just the dog.

If someone is suffering frostbite or hypothermia theres a certain method to safely warm them up. It was better to leave the dog as he was until they could get him into a controlled environment to assess him.

Ok, embarrassing story alert. I had a mouse in my house so I set out one of those sticky traps. Needless to say, since the thing wasn't dead when I found it I felt horrible. I drove a few blocks away, sprayed the thing with pam, and pried him off. He ran off into the woods. I think if some people saw any animal regardless of size in trouble, they may have a soft enough heart to save it... even a chicken...lol.

i would save a dog only if i was properly equipped like the rescuers here. you wouldn't see me go out on the ice without dry suites and flotation devices. No mater what, a dog is a dog, and a Human life trumps a dogs life period. I wouldn't risk my life on a dog. As for these guys, they weren't in danger. they could float around in that water for hours in those suits there was no human life at risk here, just the dog.

it depends. theres alot of idiotic humans that i think should die without any questions compared to a dog. And if it was my own dog i probably would have risked my life depending on the situation. If there was just no way, i probably would have ended its suffering as fast as i can to ease it.

@jualkyn I'm a vegetarian, I love chickens and cows and pigs and dogs and cats and birds and lambs they are all capable of love so why must we eat them? Can't we just stop eating them and instead love them? I know you guys got to eat meat but why? Think how they must feel knowing they are going to die scared alone unloved and murdered think about that.

I believe that there is a circle of life in the nature of things, humans were born to be omnivores meaning our body desires the taste of meat and vegetables in natural circumstances. It isn't about hating the animal or not loving it, its about eating it to survive and to accept your human being's NATURAL cravings of meat. However, this doesn't mean animals should purposely be forced to suffer, and one should respect their food

i don't really care how much an animal is worth. if ppl didn't eat chickens they would probably save it. I still wouldn't want a chicken to suffer, all animals should have the grace of life before death, even if its for food I believe.

Nothing interesting ever happens to me, but one day i was walking to school and saw a dog hit by a car and i just ran straight into the road and stopped all the cars (stupid i know, i didnt have time to think it through) the dog was terrified it was heartbreaking but i carried it off the road :D not sure if it lived though :( coz when the vets came and took it away i never heard from it again... :(

90% im right. If someone was in danger in a country like Pakistan at the moment, I would really risk my life to help those people. But if I see a 20 year old lady with much make-up and a short skirt or sumtin like that, i would say "fuck you" and walk away, or just tape it on camera and post in on youtube : -)
