The Moronic Surveyors were a combination of pop groups Boys don't Cry and Sad Cafe, singers John Wilson and Paul Young, assisted by Rob Day as "the man from Whitehall" and Laserettes Erin Kelly and Liz West.
I'm not sure who the guy singing is, but I can tell you the woman at 1:58 is Liz West, and the one at 2:36 is Erin Kelly. Both were DJs on Laser 558. (I was a HUGE Laser fan and still have the postcard Erin Kelly wrote to me in response to my letter to her!)
Good to hear the Moronic Surveyors again. I well remember Charlie Wolfs live broadcasts "From The Poop Deck Of The MV Communicator", and think of them every time I see him reviewing the papers on BBC News 24 (and Sky News). Good old Charlie - they were exciting Radio Days, the like of which I doubt we'll see or hear again. Thank Goodness Caroline Continues.
Great tune I bought both 7" & 12" singles back in 1985 still have them!
