  • Love this post, man. I'm trying to make my mind up on which Nathan variant to buy for my truck...and I like the K5HL the best. Cheers!!!

  • no piano real life

  • Games Piano

  • NO piano

  • great vid! Is there a way you can play a K5HL on the piano?

  • Sorry for two comments, but I was messing around with a piano on an RS2M and I noticed playing it a half step up makes it sound like it's coming at me at maybe about 40-50 mph and playing it a half step below is going away. I may be wrong, but that's what I think.

  • @TommyBNSF train?

  • The second K5H option I believe is what it would sound like coming at a fast pace and the first one is at a dead stop.

  • You know much about the K5HLL?

  • @cweis127 Yes, its a K5HL with two 1 bells, thats where the LL comes in

  • @Seaboard1321 Yeah, two 1L bells...which replaces the #5 on the K5H. but ive never heard of a K5HA.. I think youre trying to make a point across that the K5H is two different tuning options. A Canadian-tuned K5H is on a low manifold (K5L)

  • #2 is american tuning

  • @cweis127 Yes. The K5H looks just like a K5LA. Canadian tuned K5LA, none the less. K5HA/K5HR24 are amaerican.

  • Wow that thing with keys is neat? What do you call it again?

  • @npadul30 playing the piano? lol

  • Neat!!!!

  • does 722 from Potomac Eagle have an s3l?

  • @tylereightynine I would have to listin to it. Want to send me one of it?

  • Dude,,,, you did a very good job on demonstrating the different note chord configuration of the different railroad horns... 5 stars and a thumbs up... I will tell you though the K5h is tuned to the option one chord that you demonstrated. I also would have liked to have heard the K5LA notes....but other than that... Excellent!!!

  • @djluna96 Thanks man!! Sense this video I have learned a few more, so ill for sure make another one with a K5LA in it!!

  • I like #1, good job!

My K5H which is mounted on top of my 3/4 ton GMC plays: D# F# A# C natural, & D#.

My particular K5H was manufactured around 1974. Thus it is a little off the original chord by a bit.

  • @K5H13760 Ahh lucky!!! I want a train horn SO BAD!!!

  • Since a K5LA (or K5HA) is D# F# G# B D#, and the only difference between a K5 and and a K5A is the 3 and 4 bells (3A and 4A bells on the K5A, straight 3 and 4 bells on the K5) only 2 notes would be different.

  • @ConrailJon I have figured the difference. The correct K5H or K5HR24 is the first one in the video. I will have another train horn video in the future.

  • Number 1 sounds better

  • awesome, how good are you at playing paino?

  • @1991conrail Thanks man! Ive been playing for 11 years

  • option 2 is better

  • @UP5140SD70M Thanks for your vote! That is kinda what I think too...

  • @Seaboard1321 my moms BF i s a 20 year danish concert pianist, and he will play these for me like,

  • @UP5140SD70M He know them? LOL nice hahaha

  • @Seaboard1321 no i sent him a email with the notes,

  • @UP5140SD70M Ohh okay lol. Do you know of any that I missed you have the notes too?

  • @Seaboard1321 no i dont, i dont even play piano

  • @UP5140SD70M Lucky.....I dont enjoy it too much.

  • @Seaboard1321 yea, trains are better than pianos for sure

  • @UP5140SD70M AMENNNN

  • HaHa very creative! you know too much about train horns though! LOL

  • @metraF40PH163 Thanks : ) haha
