No, there is a lot more to it then that, and you wouldn't ever want to make nitroglycerin. It's very unstable, shock sensitive and goes exothermic which has to be controlled or boom. . . Hence why they don't use nitroglycerin anymore, along came dynamite, TNT, etc. which was safer and now the stuff they use is much more safe to handle and way more powerful.
