Aion Templar lvl 50 grinding

I've got a level 29 templar myself too, full departed souls armor (except for the shoulders) and he kicks ass man. It's just so fucking awesome to be near invincible and deal a fair amount of damage! :D

i use the same. great sword. what we differ is im weaving. and its faster killing.

thats assassin's dps+a templar def and hp. best for pvp. suck in aerial. :))

@kartacaster Templar vs Gladiator just depends which playing style you would rather go with, Templar's damage isnt as high as Gladiator's, but templars are mega-tanks, if you look around some other youtube videos, templars (smart players, granted) can win 3 v 1's sometimes even more than that. i feel templars kind of have a "the best offense is a good defense" Glad has some really good damage, they arent trusted as much for tanking, though.

also temp is a tank it should be built to do some dmg..and hold alot of threat/aggro instead of do a shiat load of dmg and hold threat but in the game its not really temps thats taking its a sin or w/e is pulling aggro go go go go cleric heal heal lol

ok so are templars dps really that bad i have a lvl 16 temp and it seems that it takes forever to kill something does this get better(i was using sword and shield) now i have a lvl 9 and i cant choose glad or temp which one i was going to be a glad but after seeing this and some other vids i though mabey dps isnt that bad plzz help me

This is what I hate about this game.......

The focus to much on pve dmg they forgot about the class balance.... then when it comes to pvp dmg the class pve dmg is counted as pvp ...dont think defense work in pvp...for a chanter gets beat down to fast...and they wear chain....also that temps just did 3K+ 2+ dmg wtf chanters cant even do that...yea we can heal but dmg i rather do ++ dmg.. We are buffer class...so only useful in instance/group

@swishabiz chanters arnt built like temps and chanters arnt melee class there healing so they do better healing wise then dmg

@WhiteNightIIV yea thats why the game is broken lol....every class should be able to do decent amount of dmg without fenris/gold armor or pvp gears..but it seems its a pve all the way game added with some op pve skills that goes into pvp that makes ranger class op.. Also True chanter is a buffer class but...why not make us have a solo pvp spec that can snare and do dmg..instead of just hope of luck of a stun and knock down...

this is why we assassins hate templars ._. they do that mutch wile being an unstoppable tank -.- i swear i kept one stunlocked for a bout 3 minutes and only got him to 40% hp ._.

glads are dps where as templars are defense. So they put out more damage and can aoe.

@watchoupitchou kinda hard to start off with a Templar for the first char in Aion, since it's a class that heavily relies on its armor/weaps. Fun tho, indeed 8D

Its just the level 45 craft sword or the level 46 coin swords which makes templars so damn powerfull but theres not even someone on our server(nerthus)who could/would craft that

you get ur first wings at lvl 10 then you can buy an upgrade at 30 and 50

ahh shame. I'm guessing that they have like decent single target tanking capabilities whereas the gladiators are AOE tanks? maybe im reading too much into it, as i havent played the game xD

not really. Temps only have single target attacks. Can pull like 4 mobs if you want...but you still can only burn them down 1 at a time. Glads are aoe melee. To Tell the truth i never see much aoe grinding going on for any class.
