  • i love this and most of hausa songs that i heard,i am a somalian don't understand but feel good to listen and know differences of the other africans.i see that west africa and east african counties has a lot of similarities, may be its because of mix with arabs and been muslim mostly.

  • @hambaabir

No,it's not because of Arabs or Islam,it's because Hausa is also Afro-Asiatic just as Somalis,Berber,Arabs.

But Hausa language is very close to Berber language than other Afro-Asiatic.

Arabs are camouflage of us,they copied us more than we copied them. You will realize it when you take a profound knowledge of the Afro-Asiatic literature.

Hausa shared the same maternal DNA with Cushitic mt L3f3f which is typically East African maternal lineages, and only found in Cushitic speakers

  • @hambaabir

The only DNA that is not shared between Cushitic and Chadic is male lineage Y-ch R1b DNA ,which was only found among Chadic,Egyptian-Berber (Siwa),Libyan-Berber,Algerian-Berber (Oran ) ,while Chadic shared very low frequencies of Cushitic Y-ch DNA E1b1b at rate of 3%,Cushitic had 0% of R1b.

Eastern Chadic is very close to Cushitic languages than Western Chadic, some Anthropologist even classified Eastern Chadic in Cushitic, but that was then disregarded by other Anthropologist.

  • @alvisred Lmaoo Asian music! girma girma Allah ko chi ne mai girma!

    Niger-Nigeria♥

  • @alvisred Thanks for the comment. I just came back from Nigeria after spending nearly 2 months in the heart of Igbo land. Thats why I am reacting late. Thanks though.

  • I understand this language because it is a mixture of arabic, berber and african..so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet wooooooooooooooooooow

  • i luv this vidoe very nyc

  • girma means greatness in hausa i dont think so because in ghana we also speak hausa and girma means ur getting older or ur growing up.

  • It depends on hw u are using it. For instance Kai yaro ka ya grima means our son has grown up however when u say mai girma means someone with greatness.

  • in eastern algeria berbers call it gerroum -old-gerrem=becoming old

  • salut faty je vie en paris me je suis nigerienne ;ce tres bient ce que tu fait;

  • lots of love from somalia

  • My daughter is very much in love with this song! the theme of the song is centred around the fear of God... "Girma Girma Allahu shi ne mai girma" meaning Allah is the greatest "ku rike amana" meaning keep to your promise and learn the way of the prophet!

  • @rahmanya, learn the way of the prophet, means an eye for an eye, leaving us all blind.

  • it is simply wonderful...

Go on girl... we need u :)

  • One of my favorite Hausa songs. I love her singing and the sound quality is very good. Video is so well done too. I can't find this in USA. If you can send me a link to buy a CD I will forever be in your debt.

  • NICE MELODIE.NICE SONG

  • girma that means she is getting older right i speak hause but ghana hause is a little different from nigerian hause.
