You know, Suetonius ist not really the most reliable source for these kind of things. In recent historical studies conerning the roman era, it is widely known, that his works are collections of rumors and gossip, as you read. So why are going on with your "Suetonius describes the sex life of Nero". He doesn't. Don't tell people he would. It's like taking the "coverage" of Julius Caesar about the gaulic wars for granted. Please, this was essentially his "Mein Kampf".
