  • where did you get the turbo charged 4 cylinder from????

  • @Nalendra95 Toys R Us, probably...have seen them at model stores and ebay.

  • @Turbo231

have looked everywhere and still can't find it, do you still have the remaining parts of the turbo one??

  • @Nalendra95 I see no current ones are for sale,..had to look at completed auctions to see them...made by Revell.

  • is the bottom end metal?

  • @ACHEESEDANISH00 Plastic

  • lol

  • where can i buy 1

  • @pitbull911ful there is a few on ebay

  • this was so funny but you should of sold them on ebay

  • Lmfao this guy

  • There is a model of the Wankle rotary engine available.

  • @Blargaldalien yes there is...runs on two AA batteries and available on ebay.

  • @Turbo231 Oh, mine was hand cranked.

  • you should have use a electric power drill and maybe it would have been more exiting .... but still kinda funny

  • that's right all you turbo 4 bangers suck lol

  • TOO GOOD!!! " LETS FLOOR IT" ROFLMAO

  • Funny, it even vibrated like a real inline four !!!

  • Anyone else thing this guy sounds like Jay Leno?

  • What is the drill's RPM?

  • @njaslayer 0 to 1000ish?

  • "That's probably as fast as it was designed to ever go?...let's FLOOR it!!"

    LOL!!

  • I remember reading that at one time Ford had actually developed a Plastic engine that actually worked. I think it had iron cylinder liners but the block was phenolic. I cant recall what the head was made out of but I think it just had some metal in it.

Cosworth also made a plastic engine and had it in a race car for a season or two.

  • Now you'll need to replace piston rings, crankshaft bearings, and probably whole camshaft....next time pour oil in :DDDD

  • so there was never any compression at all in this thing?

  • @superfunnyman123 No, its a toy really. Even if you could get something to seal, all the plastic parts couldn't take any real stress over any period of time.

  • @Turbo231 damn lol im wanting to buy a 4 cylinder model and make it run on compressed air by shrinking the cam pullie by half so that it will spin the same speed as the crank. there for when the piston is top dead center the intake valve will open and air will spray in and push the piston down when its bottom dead center the valve will close and the exhaust valve will open. though it would be an interesting project!

  • @superfunnyman123 please make a tut vid when you do it ill sub and favorite it XD

  • @seelder4 definatly will do once i buy all the stuff i need for the project. btw where did you find that turbocharged model 4 cylinder i have look all over the place for one lol!

  • @superfunnyman123 I had gotten it at like a toys R us...but ebay must have a ton of them.

  • from zerro to 15000 mils n our in 0.1 sec i want it in my go cart

  • LOL - Chances are if the bit broke off on the first engine, it was seized or otherwise damaged....

  • Nice!

  • why did u get it?

  • @jadejordan1 purchased and built them years ago and displayed them for a bit...then they got stored...then I had to move, and since I didn't want to keep storing them, I did this instead. :)

  • @Turbo231 u could of sold it though

  • @jadejordan1 Maybe...but a prebuilt crappy old plastic engine wouldn't fetch much and I didn't have the time...besides, makes for good ebay video. :)

  • @Turbo231 momemade though

  • @Turbo231 im gonna try this too :D

  • The original Visible V-8 was by Renwal. It was powered by an electric motor, in the starter. Also, the sparkplugs were small light bulbs, properly timed to the distributor's roatation.

There is a Wankle avaialable, that would look awesome at "drill speed".

  • @Blargaldalien Even neater, that visible V8 fit in the visible chassis, which is hard to find now that included suspension and a transmission for the engine....thus the engine could power the car via the starter. :p

  • @Turbo231 There is a site which has these all for sale, incl the suspension, for HUNDREDS of dollars.

  • ass hole there models not crap

  • all you need is a bit of petrol (n 4 stroke oil) and you would have a little bomb or a melted engine

  • The 4 cylinder is a 2.3L ford sohc turbo I think.

  • I have the 4 cyc. one here at the house I never finished it.. lol there good models :)

  • where did you buy the 4cyl

  • @offspringfanman96 Might have been a hobby store or at a now defunct online place. think ebay has a ton of them cheap.

  • @Turbo231 cool

  • hey man is the 4cyl an old model? thats the one i would love to have, or do you still have the turbo lyin around?

  • @doufcha No...not very, they still sell them today. I don't have either engine as I was clearing out my stuff for a move and was just getting rid of things I no longer needed.

  • @Turbo231 you wouldnt happen to know where they still sell the 4cyl would you? i know where to get the v8

  • that is amazing n8

  • haha its a real shaker for your car

  • well there probably only designed to go at a top spead of 4 miles an hour...hmmm......LETS FLOOR IT!!!

  • yeah i built one of those v8 engines and lubed it up and hooked a drill to it and spun it for bout an hour and the crank cracked in 5 places, and the timing gears cracked

  • BUT LETS FLOOR IT! Haha, where do you buy these?

  • this was as fast as it was designed to go.....LETS FLOOR IT!!!

  • were can i buy these

  • are these like models you build? i think their pretty awesome

  • @Invisiblepanda Yeah, you can get them for 50 bucks or so. The older ones on ebay have little electric motors, the newer ones are just hand powered.

  • I had an engine do that to me once... stuff just starts falling off.

  • next time take a electrical drill for that ..instead of battery powered on .. hahah

  • watch your finger there lol

  • damn . Those are pretty cool. Shame they didnt break though!

  • those are cool

  • I would have liked to see it throw a rod or maybe seize up.

  • @canadaeast when i was putting one together i attachted it to a drill to check it out i didnt lube it as well as i should have and the bottom end melted, warped and seized the entire engine.iw as so piss cause i never finished it but it was pretty cool
