That's true. It's a good thing that he has Watson on his side. It's not visible but I'm sure that, somehow, Watsons friendship - if it is not something more- is making the amazing, strong, masterful detective who's so well known. But, certainly, there are things on the real Sherlock which he strongly hides, which are, (aganinst his willor without his knowing) only known to Watson.
