If you wanna learn deathblows fast.. then use deathblows as little a possible.

And. Say that you wanna learn Hagan with Fei. It's Square + X. Then just use that all the time and eventually, you will learn it. Provided that your level is high enough. If your level isn't high enough, you can use Square + Square as well and you will learn it.

* Go to Google and type in 'Download Ps1' games. There's a website called 'Emuparadise' and you can download many great PS1 games from there like Final Fantasy 7, Silent Hill 1, Dino Crisis, Xenogears!

* Download a PS1 Emulator.

* If you have a PS3 controller you can use it as a controller! Go to windows control panel --> Game Devices --> from there you can set-up your PS3 controller to certain buttons on screen.. then make the emulator match it!

@DanBan59 Citan's best sword is obtained in the desert island around the center of the world map. When you enter it's got flowing sand all over that nearly looks like water, and once entering the desert itself it's a repeating dungeon, ie you can walk in any direction but unless you know the exact path to follow you'll just walk in circles entering the same rooms over and over.

If you know the right path you end up at a dragon's skeleton, the sword is in the skull of it.

I think the biggest highlights of the gameplay to me was when I learned all of Fei's moves and when Citan got his sword. I was too geeked. I wish SquareEnix would get back with the creator, do a remake and let him finish it the way he wanted to. I think the second disc would have been much longer and enjoyable. Still, it's on the top 5 favorite games of all time. A coin toss between this and Chrono Trigger.

Leave Citan at 1HP... deals the kinda damage that'll take Gear-sized opponents down no problem!

In fact that's what I used to do... wouldn't use Fenrir if I could avoid it. Citan just pwned harder without the Gear this way.

Citan's voice is cracked up in US version.

In US version, when using Hoten (one of the DB), Citan shouts like "Haar, SE~!" But in JP version, he shouts actually like "Haa, SHOo~!" (or "shuu!").

Yeah joe sells the really kick ass stuff in there so it sounds like you been in that place already. All you need to do is get out of your gear and explore more of the buildings. Make sure esmerelda is in your current party though along with Fei. As for Citans best sword, I don't rememeber.

Citan's best sword is Mumyo Sword gotten from defeating Dragon in Duneman Isle (west of Bart's Lair) during end of Disc 2. You can also get Bart's best whip there. But the Dragon has to be fought ON FOOT! Make sure one of your party members has the Trader Card equipped.

Go to where the light house is (ya know, it's on an island near babel and the orphanage) and go in there. You'll be taken to the underground city of Zeboim. explore it thoroughly and eventually a scene will play and she'll be older.

Yaimeki is a dark element DB and the one before it was his light element DB. I agree with you about Yaimeki stealing an enemy's life force, it's just unfortunate Fei doesn't actually recover any health from it lol.

Yeah, but IMO, Citan with his sword is just as powerful, except he doesn't have the Light and Dark DBs that Fei has. Even so, Citan is a valuable asset all around in the game.
