I didn't like her until i saw the VMA performance and realized that she is an artist. When she sings live it truly is live, not lip synced.. to me that is an artist. She might be a bit odd, but aren't we all? I really like her now and plan to pick up her CD soon.

Do you realize music isn't only surrounded by how well your voice is? For an example, instruments, trumpets, horns, clarinets. Music is also how well you produce a sound, she clearly excells in creating beats, rhythms, and flow of energy. Vocals are nice but it isn't entirely what music is judged off of.

Do people realise just how talented she really is. Its like watching Obama - she is always surprising. Every performance is different, unique and a work of art that can stand on its own. How does she constantly change all the dance routines, change the words, design the sets and costumes, and give some pretty thoughtful but playful interviews. Its talent, maybe on a par with Elton John.
