The text pop up app is Handcent, I think. Thats the one I use and its great.

hey mrnorthface i got a question for u. how can u set ur droid to vibrate on all notifications i cant get it to do it. i got it for incoming phone calls but not notifications like txt. i noticed on this video it vibrated when u recieved a txt. thanx

@cagontu For the people wondering, to get your Droid to vibrate when you receive a text message, go to "messages" then hit "menu" and "settings" then scroll to the bottom and check off "vibrate".
