@skatersanddunce257 srry typed to soon didn't watch the whole video nevermind. But also did you dual boot this with windows or do you have Mac OS X as your main operating system
If you got the wifi working, how did you do it? I tried installing iatkos v7 on my lenovo laptop and it worked but I couldn't get the wifi to work! It dosn't even have the option for airport or even ethernet! Can someone help?
When iatkos v7 installed in network options it dosn't even have the option for any type of wifi. When I was installing iatkos I checked all the boxes on networking including wired and wireless.
When I try to install this I get as far as the installation (after whats in the BIOS) and my mouse and keyboard turn off as soon as it gets to the installation screen after the apple logo. I can't click next or anything. Anybody have any ideas? It did the same thing in the windows xp setup...Vista and Ubuntu work fine.
iatkos v7 cool thing, but i don't know how to connect into my network, because i see only ethernet, wifi, and other shit that i don't have, so this is so bad
How did you get your WiFi to work. The Wifi on my Dell Inspiron E1505 connects but never surfs or if it does surf it will lose connection 5 seconds after opening the webpage. Also I keep getting Kernel panic error. I have Kernel 9.7.0 and for the most part I have to load .dmg files from a external flash stick. Also I have a adobe flash issue. On cam chat pages, I can't click on the little window to allow for my webcam to be used. :( I also used the iATKOSv7 disc. Any help would be appreciated.
what settings did you choose to get it to work i have almost the same laptop with AMD. Im not sure which pats to check off in the customize part of it.
Could you please add a detailed explaination of how you made the installation. I am trying to get iATKOS v7 to work on my Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop, but I can't get it to work, after the installation finishes I get pixelated screen at the Leopard boot screen. Please make sure you include everything. Thanks
Did you choose a graphics card when you were installing or did you leave that out? For the first install I suggest leaving off the graphics card. Have you tried booting with -f the first time? If not try that or try booting with -v -x and see if there are any errors. I will try to post a detailed version today, but of course this will be according to my hardware which is different then yours
Sure, but I just want to know if am doing the main steps correctly. What I basically did is first create the Leopard partition (FAT32) in Windows, then erased it to Mac OSX Extended Journaled using the iATKOS DVD, then I entered a few commands in terminal to mark the partition active (fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 then flag then update then write), then I installed Chameleon on the OS X partition then made the installation. Is this correct?? Please let me know
Yeah that's a good way of doing it. Everything should be fine from there. The pixelated screen is a different story, has to do with the incorrect graphics kext chosen, most likely
I respect your hard work, but what is the appeal with Mac os?

@kloquewerk How does some of the apps still work, because since you don't have GFX, and some of Apple's software needs Quartz Extreme and Core Image.
