Some people being ignorant ask dumb questions....in 1 corinthians @ chapter 10 or so it says the long hair a a woman it her glory.....that's why we don't cut our hair people we follow the rules our lord put ....
where in the Bible does it say that Jesus was clean shaven and shorn? In Jewish history, the only time men shaved was when they were in mourning, and since he wasn't trying to be disitnguished from everyone else, he wouldnt have shaved....
@Intellectual4God um no we don't have rules about our only to not cut trim or color it an that is bible . There is just a lot of ppl whom like the same style :)
Hey I'm with Assemblies of God Pentecostals....I dont know much of the Apostolic Pentecostal denomination so i just came here out of curiosity, why is there certain hair-do's for your denomination?
In your denomination are you biblically obligated to have your hair a certain way do you think? or is a Church specific rule or is it something just done for the heck of it, just curious thats all.
If you look at the history of the AOG they used to keep their hair long, but somewhere along the way they started cutting it. At one time you couldn't tell one demonination from another because they followed the same dress and hair styles.
@Intellectual4God we dont have certain hairstyles for our denomination. we just say that cause its for long hair and most apostolics have long hair sence we dont cut our hair. we wear it anyway we want! i hope this helped some ppl dnt understand that u dnt have to wear yur hair like this its just a hairstyle for long hair!! I love this I'm going to show my girlfriend :) she's my pastors daughter. This would look so good on her I think. Also so everyone knows. Jesus didn't come to earth to be noticed. The bible says he didn't have a very noticeable face also the pictures of Jesus with a beard and Long hair was created but Michael Angelo and the bible said he was clean shaven and shorn AKA he had short hair and no beard at all. So no one truly knows what Christ looked like. Lol and Godless to everyone. I love the ha
i have recently been convicted by God to not cut my hair anymore and well before this conviction i have colored my hair its growing out now and i suppose it will always be in my hair now. my hair is down to about 2 inches below my shoulders that's it.
@livefaithlove2388 I never knew he cared about physical appearance...since Jesus came not as a fancy dressed King, and had a beard(they plucked it). You would think if he cared so much about appearances, he would have came all dressed like a King. I believe jesus knew being seperate, was not about what one looked like. If one wants to be seperate, show it in your spirit.

@livefaithlove2388 through natural attrition, the color in your hair will eventually not be noticable. i dont have personal experience with color, but i know a girl whose hair was striped when she quit cutting it. it's nearly ankle length now, and you'd never know she colored it at all. God will work it out!!!! Keep the faith!

@MissTandE well I hardly use hairspray or gel ect ! I haven't ever cut/trimmed it and I use. " herbal essants Long term relationship " it's in a red bottle and it's very very good !!
