Wow, I had no idea this was happening in Streator, IL! U.S. Foodservice should treat their employees better. What they're doing is heartless in this economy.
How exactly do unions feed off of hardworking Americans? I know a whole lot of people who are in unions, I'm in one myself, and they're almost as a rule hard working, proud Americans who see the value in being in a union. The truth of the matter is there's no better way to make your job better than to join one. It's a shame the laws in this country are so out of whack that companies can just scare the hell out of and fire anyone who wants to join one.
Union thug circus shows such as this are part of the reason public support of unions among Americans is at an all time low according to Gallop and the reason organized labor lost 10 percent or 834,000 of its members in the private sector in 2009, the largest decline in more than 25 years. 93% of American workers in the private sector have turned their backs on you clowns.
The Obama freight train of union entitlement is slowing down and straying farther off the tracks with each passing day.
Perhaps you should change your name to Mr. Joe Barton and begin defending BP Oil, Wall Street Execs, and Unsustainable Banks. Clearly the leaders of these organizations are classy, selfless, respectable members of society. Meanwhile these "thugs" in the video are working to ensure middle class workers are provided health care, retirement benefits and livable wages--some thugs.
Red herring alert. Instead of refuting the facts I presented about the profound decline of unions in private-sector America, you disassemble into typical union smoke screen ramblings about "BP, oil, unsustainable banks," etc.
Unions harm more than help by being parasites who feed off of hardworking Americans while reaching into our back pockets to steal taxpayer dollars to fund their corrupt, crumbling, Ponzi scheme pension plans.
