1. Combat is delay based. As in, your weapon has a set delay, and after you attack you wait the delay then attack again.

2. Couldn't tell you, I play on PS2.

3. Multiple classes get things like this. Thief gets Dancing Edge, if you use axe you get Rampage. There are multiple options open for you here.

4. The closest you get to that are weapon skills. You build up TP as you attack and get hit, and once you reach 100% TP you can use a weapon skill. I supposed you could say your 2 hour ability counts towards your question as well.

Actually, you're wrong. There IS something called Limit Breaks, but you can't get them until WAAYYY later in the game (End Game material.) Not really sure what they do... I just heard about them.

I am endgame :3 haha There isn't anything called a Limit Break. The "Limit Breaks" in FFXI are quests you do to break your level cap. At level 50 you are stuck at level 50 until you do your first limit break quest, then that lets you get to 55. Then you do another quest to get to 60. And so on and soforth until 75.

5. No penalty for PVP, but if you die in say, an XP pt, you lose 10% of your max xp. Like if your was 457/1000, you would lose 100xp (10% of 1000)

6. PVP is only available in arenas, you can't just run up and smack someone.

yes you can use the gamepad, but the keyboards works just as well and makes typing easier

each weapon type has attacks called weaponskills, they aren't as elaborate as anything squall did, but they look cool. they're practical for the game. they can be chained together with other people to create bonus elemental damage as well.

pve you lose exp, pvp no xp loss, pve

only instance pvp, no ganking at all. pvp is not a big feature.

Out of the 3 new classes of jobs I never thought to consider a BLU (blue mage) as one I would want to wokr on. But seeing one in action has made me consider it, but for now I'll stick with a BLM or WHM.

Body Slam is a spell learned from dragons ..like the one for mission 3 ..apparently must be a pain to get lol only other place i know i can find it is in xarcavard w/e spelled

blue mage i think is the best job in the game im sitting at 62 right now and the only way your gonna make it to lvl 75 at 55+ is if your in a static party cause no one invites blu... i was afk one time with flag up for 48 hrs and not one invite -.- plus all the spells are out of solo range now you need someone at lvl 72+ or higher to get a lot of the spells now, oh and if anyone knows how to get body slam from anything else than a dahak please tell me
