Hi, I worked hard on that problem for a while. Turn off all the auto functions. You can use auto focus if you want
Make sure the gain is off. Set it to zero.
Download the Canon XH A1s presets and copy it on your cameras SD card . Then install the SD card back into your camera. The presets are Different setting and color setting to film in.
You can also create your own presets , Using your menu "Custom Presets" .
I advise you to download them. I downloaded 18 and created 7 of my own.

What is the secret of getting the grain out? I am trying to perfect the xha1s also. Thanks!
