snareplayer im having trouble with the sounds. Im not using the dazzle, I use GigaWare screen recorder which is very similar. I can choose two options either i can record my voice but not the game volume or i can record the game volume but not my voice. And i cant use windows movie makers "capture from video device" because it says the device is already in use. Any suggestions?

@TheGearOfWar303 in that case...when you get to windows movie maker and say record from device or what not....it brings up the next window and instead of microphone being audio source...choose the dazzle itself instead...and thats how you get just sound.

Make sure your recording the dazzle audio. I'm then assuming your computer has a Mic.

You should try Pinnacle Studio 14.

@doolittlesy1 Well, I have two sets of red/yellow/white cords, one of those boxes so you can have multiple things hooked up to the TV at once, three wire-splitters (which are plugged straight into the Dazzle), and three double sided female connectors. One set of wires gets plugged into the corresponding jacks on the wire-splitters, and with the double-sided female inserts I connect the TV to it, and I use the other cord to place in the jacks where the TV once was. Sorry if this isn't clear...^^"

If you start it at the same time, there's going to be lag because it takes a little bit to start recording the video, and by then the audio has already been recording for a second or more. I learned that the hard way. ^^"

@Kiara0Yunochida hahaha yeah thats what i used to do but i always could never start them at the same time so what i started doing was start the sound recorder then pause at 2 seconds then start the dazzle and put the mouse on resume recording for the audio and right when the dazzle gets to 2 seconds i resume recording the sound its been working for me fairly well.

no, it honestly is better than the PS3 and 360. that's only in my opinion, but they are based more around actiony games, that isn't always better. I like originality in my games. sure the plot and controls are different but the objective is the same, shoot everything. the graphics are better, but the games are worse. everyone's entitled to their opinion, and that's mine. i'm sure the systems will get better, but for now, i'm sticking with the good old PS2.

i've played both, they weren't all that impressive. the most fun i had on halo 3 was playing the campaign on legendary with my friend as we kept killing marines and running away. and call of duty..well it isn't that bad but it mostly is overrated. nazi zombies wasn't all that fun, and campaign has you running away from grenade spamming japanese.

Ive tried using Fraps and programs like that to record the roms I play, but my computer isnt good, so the framerate sucks. The best thing I found to record games with is Growler Guncam, but that was only a trial period of 15 days. -_- I dont have a capture card either, nor a microphone.

Wanna learn how to record the audio from the game and your audio without having to turn up the volume?  It requires a bit of editing, but it's not hard or anything...

Record game audio from WMM, record your mic audio at the same time with a program like Audacity, and mix them together in WMM, really not that hard. I do it in all of my videos technically.
