  • amazing message at oak hill i love it!!!!!!!

  • What a BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE! ! !

  • Had the opportunity to meet Hank this past Monday at a Legacy Outfitters meeting. Great ministry....

  • One of my favorite verses in the King James Bible! Way to go Hank. Monk is an obedient servant, as are you brother. But for the Grace of God, there go I. What a fantastic testimony. What a fantastic sermon!

  • Totally Awesome Video!!!!!!! Munk you are a awesome testimony, and Hank you are a very awesome blessing to all hunters and people and I am proud to know of you and Munk-GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!!!!

  • i like it!

  • Wow. This is wonderful and thank you for sharing Monk's testimony. I received this at a crucial time and just cemented another of God's affirmations of power. I closed my office yesterday in obedience, so God could open a different door. Now it is my duty to "wait...stay...listen for the commands and let it unfold." God's blessings to you both!!! Dodie

  • Right on brother! The world IS teaching the reverse of obedience! You and your pup are a great illustration of what God has in store for us if we obey. Great dog by the way!

  • God Bless America

  • Outstanding-What a great example of how we must lead our Christian life. Obedience is " Trust God and leave all the consequences to him".

  • profound! so glad this is shared... i will pass on to others..

  • Hey very good Brother, what ever it takes to get people attention and God bless you with more ideas to spreed his word, May God bless you and your family for your work with the best from this earth and from the best of the sky above.

  • Thanks for sharing your story,Your dog and a powerful and true message. May Jesus continue to use you and Monk Isaiah 40:31 to Glorify Himself.

  • Such an AWESOME Video!!!

  • Excellent message! Great video! Thanks for sharing.... Every child should see this video. Thank you, again.

  • Wow. Very impressive presentation of God's message. God does work in mysterious ways.

  • What an excellent message....real and concrete. A little self discipline goes a long way...

  • "His freedom is because he's obedient" THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!! Very good lesson to learn.

  • Praise Jesus for this God-fearing man and his wonderful dog. The message is real and it is right.

  • Good Dog! Praise The LORD!

  • Thanks for sharing is great!!!

  • AWESOME....Thanks fo sharing and I willl share

  • Great message.

  • Beautiful

  • thats my mom tlkn in the back! and hank is our awesome cousin!!

  • Wonderful truth...and truth doesn't require anything from us. It's the truth!!! Love this video!!!

  • Thank you so much for this life lesson.

    God Bless

  • great name

  • Have you ever read the bible? Theres more than a few hunters in there dumbass. You dont have to believe in God, He believes in you.

  • who says God condones this?

  • I understand the point I don't agree with the analogy.

  • Great video

  • I'm showing this to my grandchildren.

  • I like the message about obedience. The disobedient dogs are on a leash, behind a cage, in the pound, or on the street dead. So true about the human plight.

  • God can use anyone or anything to reach out. If you are not hearing the message, your not listening. Don't be left behind, salvation is a gift offered to you! You sadly turn Christ down. What if you're wrong and it isn't a myth! I'm scared for you to be so arrogant before God!

  • we need more people out in this world like this man...not the people who are commenting on here..saying things like "religion is myth" i feel reallllllyyyy sorry for you..one day you'll learn its not myth..that God is very real!

  • Bravo!

  • I love it! Can't wait to share this with my children!

  • really good message and video....show kids, adults too.. dog spelled backwards is

    mans best friend :)

    davido

  • Wow. Where does your hope come from...

  • Religion was made by man. But faith in Christ is different...It's God reaching out to man. It's all about a relationship.

  • I'll pray for you

  • @mistysdawn You are correct regarding a relationship vs religion. However, even with the relatioship shared with Christ, the Bible is full of Christs's expectations of his followers. Main two being to love God with all of your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.......Bottom line, ask Christ to save you, study his word and then take care of the two main requests, your life will be solid and your soul will rest in eternity!

  • u learned alot by this video and i hope other people do also

  • Nice, that was my 11 year old little girl that typed that. She's as sweet and innocent as the day is long. I guess you thought I did it because she accidentally used my profile, but you would be wrong. Home grown morons? Why so harsh, hateful? You have no basis for your beliefs that have more merit than anyone else's, but you do show very little regard for civility or decency, which says a whole lot about you.

  • ha wow im scared for you

  • Fantastic ! ! ! Best video I've seen on YouTube by far. Thanks for sharing

  • Yes! The reverse of what the world tells us!

I'd like to see one of these presentations in full - what a great message and a great speaker, too! May God bless your efforts to connect.

  • You need to take this message to the schools. This is great!

  • Thank you for that message.. that was perfect!

  • That was awesome...

  • This is really lovely and so true

  • How much time is wasted majoring in the minor. wouldn't it be a little bit nicer to refrain from the words that are generally expletives that are deleted to just say Hank is a dog, we all know he is a dog, but somebody loves him, and what is wrong with that.

    A friend of dogs.

  • could it be because the 700 club condemns gays???

  • God Mitch. I was only playing. I'm Stephs friend. You've really changed since Eisenhower. As far as I am concerned everyone is just playing around about you being gay. Most people dont believe it either. Whats with all the hate? You need to chill. Who did ya piss off at Internet Movie Dsata Base by the way? I m a`member of the pro version but I dont think iv ever dissed anyone on there and I dont even know your user name.

    Peace

  • I also don't find it very funny or "playful" that you'd accuse me of hating women and gays. It's not funny at all, because I am not a hateful person and when people spread shit rumors like that about me I take offense. Think before you do something stupid.

  • I love it! I might have to go back to school with you. I've been worshiping a false god for so long.

  • Hey, Doug,

    You talk funny!

  • I smell funny too.

  • wow this is such a good video and i love the name of the dog!

  • awesome! Praise God. Good message

  • I challenge you to seek the truth and you will see what your Lord has done for you and what he has in store for you, God Bless.

  • When I walk through a parking lot and I tell my child to stop he has no time to think for himself because I have no time to explain to him that the car he does not see is about to run him over. If you read the Bible it will tell you that the heart and mind are exceedingly wicked. When a man excepts the fact that he has control of nothing and dies to himself only then will he find true peace and happiness in life.

  • dphuntsman, it is funny that you mention what you did. Let me ask you this, when you walk down the street in a big city and see an enormous sky scrapper do you also refuse to acknowledge there was a builder just because you did not see it being built? A child does not have the ability to think as an adult and that is what we are here for to guide them.

  • AMEN !! Good video to share Christ with.

  • A M E N !!

  • Good analogies. The video itself is a little cheesy though.

  • simply amazing...

  • Yes, God does desire obedience...but it is obedience born out of trust that He desires most. No one can be completely obedient...otherwise we would have no need for Jesus Christ and his work on the cross. W/out faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God, must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Heb. 11:6) By grace you have been saved thru faith; not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, so that no man may boast(Eph. 2:10)

  • Doggies are a blessing from the Lord!

  • The vid is not absurd. Your response is. A person can hunt and still love God. Most hunters eat what they kill and man is above the animals. Excuse me, some of us are. Mainly those of us who do not believe we came from monkeys.

  • that is sad that you feel like this story is all about "religion" when really it is about using your brains to say no to the things that you know you should not be a part of!

  • scrappymommy, whatever is a good example for anybody that reminds us to say to things we should not do. Obviously, you need to listen to this more than anyone. It's not about "religion," it's about a way God gave a man to relate to people. It's a "spiritual" thing. That's a blessing. I am so sorry that you can't grasp this. I will be praying for you.

  • one of the most well thought out lessons I have seen in a long time . God truly has blessed Monk and his handler. May it continue all his days....

  • I loved it when he said, "The more he stays, the more he gets to go." As a parent I understand just how important obedience is.

  • Awesome video, awesome message.

  • jmurphy must be trying to stir the pot, because the comment makes absolutely no sense. ignore it.

  • What do you mean "poor dog" jmurphy????

  • What a fantastic video, and such a great way to share the Word.

  • Absolutely beautiful. Beautiful dog and fantastic message!

  • Eloquent.

  • Awesome message, and a great video! Thank you for spreading His word!!

  • I love this! Keep up the great work for the Kingdom of God!

  • Great video. What a wonderful dog and a wonderful lesson :)

  • WOW! thank you so much for this wonderful story. If we could, no would, only have the faithulness of a dog how much more would our Father bless us

  • Awsome video

  • Amen and amen and amen and amen ad infinitum!!!

  • Awesome!

  • Many Thanks! I Love JESUS.

  • That is a very powerful story.

  • I understand what dphuntsman is saying about "blind faith" - or rather blind obediance - I think is the concept.

I have an autistic child who isn't particularly "obdiant" to us his parents - yet the kid is compassionate and caring, has a genuine interest in helping others and prays a lot for help with his struggles. (he has some serious health issues too) Personally, I'd rather see that than "blind obediance".

  • As much as morality can be taught, legislated, imposed upon by outside forces - (the governement does not bear the sword in vain) the "good" it does has limitations if there is rebellion in the heart! That rebellion will always manifest it's-self in some way or another.

As for this dog - he just maybe very inteligent and well trained with positive reinforcement. He doesn't appear to be particularly anxious or anything. Which is good!

  • I too was referred to this video by a friend. I've watched the video and have been reading the comments; and yes, this dog is indeed remarkable in a lot of ways. Most dogs aren't that still within their own temperments to be that obediant. Most humans aren't either!

Obediance to God is a "fruit of the Spirit" born out of trust in that indwelling Spirit. It speaks well on it's own when demonstarted; yet I find something about the message of this video a bit ---- difficult / disturbing ???

  • Great Video... I have a comment for u dphuntsman....No one is saying for u to walk blindly thru obedience, without evidence. Christ IS the evidence of God. He died and rose again from the grave. Eternally triumphant over all his enemies, including the enemy who has blinded your eyes to the light of the Gospel in the glory of God who is the risen Christ. Its ironic that you are actually the one who is blind. You are rejecting truth because it doesn't fit who u want God to be. But God is.

  • Webmillions, amen, and amen!

And for those of you who don't know what the word 'Amen' means, it means:

    "This is so"...

    "This is truth"...

    and/or

    "So, be it"!

  • CCHS? Would that refer to Charles City? Where did you get the comma? Is that in the original meaning of amen? He he he

  • And the only way to the father, is thru the Son. Look for yourself. Study the Scriptures. See if God is, who he says he is. Do your own investigation. Not to win an arguement..but to settle your own soul.. Peace to u....

  • Obviously YOU are not a believer in Christ ( your reference to "an invisible friend in the sky )

This video is a symbolic message of "obediance" for everyone. The best way to TEACH a child by example. The parents, ie, dog owner are the ones who SET THE EXAMPLE. There is no abuse in this video!

  • I will pray for you, my friend.

  • "The hands that help are better far than the lips that pray." -

    Robert Green Ingersoll

  • "All hell is vanquished when the believer bows his knee in importunate supplication."

    Charles Hadden Spurgeon.

  • How can I help you?

  • You seem intelligent and thoughtful, maybe you would read a book called "The case for Christ" which gives much investigative evidence you might find interesting.

  • I've read it; it's not a good book; i He claims to do an investigative job; yet all he does is interview one theologian after another, each of which says essentially - 'the evidence is incontrivertible!"- AND THAT'S ALL! Not a single historian is interviewed. Not one.

If interested in what true historical scholars have unearthed in recent decades:

    - Excavating Jesus/ Crossan

    - Misquoting Jesus ; & Jesus, Interrupted by Ehrman.

    For the Hebrew Bible, UNEARTHING THE BIBLE, by Finkelstein;

  • I agree with you about the Case For Christ. I was dissapointed.

  • This is truly inspiring, and really a great message.

  • Excellent analogy!!!

  • This is a message that everyone should listen to "Really Listen To". This does relate to our lives.

    Great Lord's Work

  • Beautiful. Perfect. God bless.

  • It is so good

  • This was a perfect way to teach kids the necessity of "obeying" their masters. What a wonderful video! This should be a mandatory video shown to every new parent before they leave the hospital, and to every teacher in this nation. What a wonderful message!

  • Oo many of us are lying next to 'cookies' feeling tempted, discouraged and condemned. With God's help and encouragement, let's eat only His good food and go in the way he has prepared for us.Personally I don't want to end up in the pound... God bless Monk, his master, and our Lord, Jesus Christ.

  • This was a wonderful video! Keep up the good work and spread the message, it's so important for everyone to be obedient to God.

  • i am so impressed by this Praise God keep up the great work .

  • What a wonderful man, his family and dog! Keep preaching, it will help save some souls out there. Thank you so much.

  • Beautiful dog. Great message!!

  • It just goes to show that we can minister in our everday lives when we follow our hearts and not worry about what someone is going to think about our message. Wonderful witness!

  • WOOHOO this man really knew what he was doing Amen to that. Praise God for HE is the one that matters most

  • I knew I wasn't special until God gave ME several dogs smarter than me!! They gave me legs, when I could not walk, they gave me protection when I couldn't protect myself....and if my dog doesn't like someone, I have quickly learned, that is someone who does NOT NEED to be a part of my Life. If we will EVER LEARN to listen to our animals, we MIGHT learn to become "more Godlike". Just a thought.........................and a Prayer for our Angels!!

  • Awesome Message! It's sad to see the people out there that are so lost! You know the saying "The Truth Hurts!" The gospel is the Truth! Keep spreading the word! GO MONK!

  • Great video, and wonderful message. I will share this message with others. God Bless you always.

  • Beautiful dog and beautiful message.

  • God Bless!

  • Excellent message that I will pass on.

  • What a wonderful message, I will share this with Family & Friends.

Into days world we do need obedience back in schools more than ever!

God Bless you Hank & Monk.

And God Bless us all we pray.Bless the old, the young, the helpless. Protect especially the Children. Defend them & keep them safe. God Bless are Families & our Friends.

  • I am a blessed owner or two black Labs and wowee, it's great to see Monk's life be used for the Kingdom of God. I love that statement, The more I learn to stay .. the more I get to go .. that is so profound!! Thanks so much for sharing your Outreach with us .. it touched my heart. God Bless you two!!

  • Too Cool!

  • What a perfect example of how we should also be obedient! God bless, you, Hank and Monk.

  • A wonderful examplwe of how to share your faith! God bless Monk and his family!

  • What a wonderful way to teach a life lesson. Everyone can understand its message. Thank you!

  • How to become a christian.

    click on: Godisreal101

  • WONDERFUL.

  • A great lesson on obedience! Great video.

  • Thank you for your dialog. I guess in this instance I have played the Devil's Advocate to lure out the Faithful. You stand up for what you believe and that is admirable. Congratulations on being the only one to do so. I apologize if I riled or insulted you in any way. I think I was initally put off by the ludicracy of involving a dog this way. Which begs the age old question, especialy for dog lovers, does a dog have a Soul? You are the kind of Christian I would like to see in Heaven.

  • I will sign off with my favorite Bible verse that gives me comfort: Luke 23:43.

  • Dyslexic Christians and D-O-G. This is truly sick, but of course the dog is cute.

  • What is the term Dyslexic Christians and D-O-G supposed to mean?

  • Dyslexia is a learning disability that manifests primarily as a difficulty with written language, particularly with reading and spelling. In this case it's transposition of letters, as in the old joke: Did you hear the one about the dyslexic atheist who didn't believe in a dog? So, in effect, dog is God spelled backwards.

  • I know what Dyslexia is. I used to work with small children at a Montessouri Learning center, and there was a child there who was borderline. That was not my question. I want to know what the intent of your comment? If you are indeed, not a christian, which is your right as human, then why are you even watching this video? So you can make comments that do infact offend those who are christians, like myself?

  • I was given a referral to this video. I am a Christian, but I'm not your "type" of Christian who can see no humor in anything, just tied to dogma.

  • I can find plenty of humor in life, first of all. I am not a holy roller. I am typical red blooded american woman, who gets the typical laugh out of anything funny, but not when it comes to something that may be religious. I take my religion very seriously. So, no I don't see the humor in this. I'm sorry.

  • Well said and I respect your feelings and beliefs. But I would caution not to be so rigid as to be intolerant of a comment made in jest. Intolerance is like judging. That's God's responsibility not ours. He loves the sinner, too.

  • I never said that God didn't love the sinner. I am a sinner. God loves everyone, no matter what their sins are. He even loves the ones that don't love him back. That is what makes him such a wonderful and forgiving God. Nobody is perfect. And was not passing judgement, I was just asking what the intent of the original comment meant, that's all. I was unsure of the intention.

  • The dialog has been interesting. Questioning the intention of a comment on a public for
