@themahermax je ne suis pas sûre que tu aies écouté tous leurs albums. Ils n'ont pas réussi à fédérer le public français mais si tu vas regarder des vidéos de leurs performances en Angleterre ou aux US, le public est hyper réactif. Ils ont de très bons morceaux notamment dans "Sam's Town". Le problème en France c'est qu'on a pas dépassé le stade de "Somebody Told Me" et "Mr Brightside".
C'est pas l'concert qui était fade, c'est le public composé majoritairement de "vieux" si je peux me permettre, qui étaient tous devant la scène qui auraient pu (du?) n'arriver qu'à Bruce.. Perso, Les Killers, j'ai aimé :D

ça fait trois ans que je fais les charrues et j'ai été très déçue du public de springsteen (je généralise bien sur) (sur les 4 jours pas beaucoup de jeunes, et pas assez d'ambiance "charrues").Pour les Killers j'étais au deuxième rang et PERSONNE ne bougeait...aux charrues généralement quand t'es devant pour ce genre de groupe... bas tu peux pas poser ton sac par terre (de toute façon le public du jeudi c'est le pire! (mise à part le public de 2007..l'ambiance était cool))
Pour en revenir au concert des Killers, les gens à coté de nous qui avaient tous entre 40 & 60 ans, nous ont regardé bizarement pendant tout le concert en se moquant de nous. Le fait de nous voir sauter, les a visiblement bien fait rire. A partir de réactions comme celles là, excusez nous donc de classifier pas mal de 50naires présents (pas tous, donc et heureusement) comme de vieux cons finis.

l'ambiance, c'ets le groupe qui la donne, pas les gens du public, dsl mais ces mecs ont l'air létargiques sur scene. J'ai pas vu le bassiste sautiller en regardant le public pour les encourager à se lacher, à part le batteur qui se donne, les artistes sont pas assez excités... enfin.... tout le monde ne peut pas avoir le génie scénique de fishbone ou des red hot, surtout quand la musique qu'on fait est aussi nulle.
et puis regarde un concert récent des peppers , jpeux te jurer qu'ils sont dix fois plus énergiques et transportent bien mieux le public ... (matte taratata par exemple, tu vas vite voir la différence entre peppers et killers)
Je suis entièrement d'accord avec captainavoin. Avec des amis, nous étions dans les tout premiers rangs. Pendant Ahn & Fiction Plane, à notre droite, 20m carré de personnes assises, empechant ainsi que d'autres personnes puissent se rapprocher. Heuresement pour les Killers, du monde afflue et ces personnes sont obligées de se lever.

Ce "quelque chose" d'indéfinissable qui fait toute la différence ! ! ! ! Comme un supplément d'âme : c'est , à mon avis, ce qui leur fait cruellement défaut .........

@Theadri3n@pattycakeyumyum They almost never allow the press. They also have their official photographer and sometimes, but it's rare, they accept/ask someone. But it still pretty rare. It's not that odd, a bit frustrating for the press for sure, but less famous bands or singers don't allow it too.

This concert was the most frustrating of my life. Not having tickets for the thursday. I had to stand outside the festival barriers. I was singing like an idiot to all the songs and wishing I was on th other side of the barriers
theenglishguy - oh what a shame - there were loads of touts selling some outside - perhaps the sound was better you outside than me inside. Having said that I did sing myself hoarse inside 'smile like you mean it' was funny though with Brandon looking miserable as sin.
One strange thing - in Le Poher newspaper -local to the festival - there was a 20 page pull out of the concert. It said that they had not been able to take photos of The Killers

I totally agree with you. I was there and was shocked at how cool the Frenchies were. But I have to say that I was near the back and the sound was dreadful, it was distorting and I got very sad for the band.
I agree the response is not the usual TK response, and I think the boys felt it, they don't seem to be enjoying themselves as much as the gigs I've witnessed... that's just my opinion anyway

You know, it's often like that when you have one very big act playing and much smaller ones (in terms of popularity) before. Springsteen's show was a very big event, people came from everywhere in France for him and also from abroad. Besides, BS's audience is a bit older than the usual killers' fan. I'm not saying that I like this attitude but it's quite common to that kind of concert ;)

J'adore les Killers, mais je ne savait pas qu'ils passaient aux Vieilles Charues sinon j'y serait allé juste pour les voir ^^
Dommage que le public ne soit pas à fond avec eux ='(

comme dit auparavant, la plupart était là pr springsteen le jeudi et rien d'autre avec bcp ds les 50 balais ... donc ils s'en foutaient des killers mais pas moi et j'avais honte pr la France pdt ce concert !!

Faut dire, ils ont pas trop joué avec le public, ils faisaient leur musique et puis c'est tout :(
Un peu déçu de ce concert, malgré de la bonne musique.

j'étais un peu déçu de l'ambiance pour le concert des Killers. Je pensais que ça allait être la folie mais le public était bizarrement mou quant on sait sa réputation ... même si c'est vrai que le jeudi, la majorité venait pour Springsteen.

Not really, especially if you watch my other vid (somebody told me). But most of the audience was here only for bruce springsteen anyway.
