  • energy catalyzer rossi invention

  • The public believes anything!

  • Bullshit allergy *sneeeeze*

  • if this works that would be great some times the simplest things prove to be the most world changing

  • "It smells like a scam to me. The question of where the energy comes from was never discussed."

You lazy bum. There is a site called blacklightpower(.com). There are 1000 pages of accurate information of experimental and calculated values such as bond angles and ionization energies. I suggest you understand the 1000+ page treatise before making blind comments such as these.

  • "If this state existed, the atom would fall there naturally"

Non sequitur. Your statement is the same nonsense that made scientists doubt the possibility of "Noble gas compounds" which were eventually discovered. As would be expected in retrospect, discovery occurred much later in the history of chemistry (mid 20th century).

  • "The site is stuffed full of nonsense. It doesn't actually say where the energy comes from."

That's because your reading comprehension sucks.

The energy comes from electrical potential energy. It doesn't take a genius to see this in his writings.

The blacklight process starts as a catalyzed non-radiative action, converting potential energy of the electric field into kinetic energy, and only then can it be observed as heat. The energy of the reaction high; it emits in the ultraviolet spectrum.

  • If you don't know where the electrical P.E. exists, then you shouldn't be teaching physics. You can learn where that comes from in a high school physics textbook.

In intermediate physics, you should know that the volume-weighted electrical P.E. density varies with the *square of the electric field*. The approach of opposite charges reduces the weighted-average electrical P.E. density, thus converting to the magnetic P.E. that varies with the *square of the magnetic field*. Translation: K.E.

  • Premise: "The claim is for an 'energy from nothing' system."

What the fuck is nothing? Electrical potential energy is not "nothing".

Premise: "They have added many layers of complexity to the explanations"

Translation: "I am too stupid to understand that energy in chemical reactions comes from electrical potential energy."

Conclusion: "but when you boil it all down that is what they are claiming."

Translation: "I got their nonsensical claim all figured out."

  • "There is no lower state available, or the atom would have already adopted it."

    Non sequitur.

"There is no source fort the energy."

Said by an idiot who doesn't know that all energy has a source.

  • "If there was a lower state available the atom would fall to it naturally."

Not all lower energy states can arise *spontaneously*. You use of the word "naturally" is erroneous.

"This is a law of physics. All systems tend to seek the lowest energy state."

They don't always happen spontaneously. Sometimes (or rather, virtually all the time) specific conditions are required for a specific reactions to take place.

ALL utilization of sources of energy will increase entropy in the universe.

  • You don't know what the fuck a magic catalyst is. Those don't exist! Therefore your statement that, "There is no bar to the electron falling to the lower state without any help from the magic catalyst, nor is there any means by which the magic catalysts can function." is 100% meaningless. Why are you talking about "magic" anyway - dumbass!

  • "It means that they are making a claim about a catalyst that is outside of what a catalyst will actually do."

When you say it is "outside of what a catalyst will actually do", you don't know "everything" that a catalyst will actually do. This why comments like this one of yours change no one's opinion.

  • "This is not a question of chemical reactions it is a question of the energy states of an electron."

You like to fancy yourself in false dilemmas. For example the claims are BOTH a question of chemical reactions and energy states of an electron.

"This makes it far easier to see that the calims on the site are nonsense."

Because you're another idiot who can't think for himself without "elders" telling him what is right and wrong. This is why your conclusions do not follow from what you state.

  • "I would advise against any investment."

So would I. Save your money for yourself. That's what a I recommend for anyone with a brain. If I come up with something new, my income should come from somewhere else.

The stock market is a piece of crap right now. Read on Peter Schiff and the like.

"The claims made by the folks at 'blacklight' boil down to the suggestion that they have found a loop hole in the laws of physics"

Now this is a statement of yours I can definitely agree with.

  • @halleyscomet

Energy from electric potential energy is not perpetual motion.

  • "They will NEVER produce a commercial generator. NEVER."

This might be true, because people like me and you who are not willing to fund the project certainly are not going to pay for the costs. ;)

  • INTENSE!

  • @fritoman182 - Similar chemical reaction is here: v=05JTYmkhrMI

  • If this REALLY Works as they Claim,Keep up with any news on this and Do NOT let them bury it like everything else good,If DARPA ever gets any rights to this, We may never see it again.

Home size generators may be a good first step to ensure that this technology ends up in the hands of the people for the benefit of the people,NOT buried,E-Mail the Company and give them your Input on this,I Did.

Think,The New Economy that could evolve,Could have a drastic downside if not handled properly though.
