I invented a breakthrough new source of energy which violates the law of conservation of energy. I have a proof that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation. 250 euros per kW DC production cost in mass production. I am looking for 4 million euros for initial research, after 2 years I will repay 200% of the amount invested. Smaller or bigger investments will be considered. My e-mail address is in my contact box.
"It smells like a scam to me. The question of where the energy comes from was never discussed."
You lazy bum. There is a site called blacklightpower(.com). There are 1000 pages of accurate information of experimental and calculated values such as bond angles and ionization energies. I suggest you understand the 1000+ page treatise before making blind comments such as these.

The site is stuffed full of nonsense. It doesn't actually say where the energy comes from. It makes claims about there being a lower energy state for hydrogen. If this state existed, the atom would fall there naturally and hence the energy would not be available in the reaction.
"If this state existed, the atom would fall there naturally"
Non sequitur. Your statement is the same nonsense that made scientists doubt the possibility of "Noble gas compounds" which were eventually discovered. As would be expected in retrospect, discovery occurred much later in the history of chemistry (mid 20th century).
"The site is stuffed full of nonsense. It doesn't actually say where the energy comes from."
That's because your reading comprehension sucks.
The energy comes from electrical potential energy. It doesn't take a genius to see this in his writings.
The blacklight process starts as a catalyzed non-radiative action, converting potential energy of the electric field into kinetic energy, and only then can it be observed as heat. The energy of the reaction high; it emits in the ultraviolet spectrum.
If you don't know where the electrical P.E. exists, then you shouldn't be teaching physics. You can learn where that comes from in a high school physics textbook.
In intermediate physics, you should know that the volume-weighted electrical P.E. density varies with the *square of the electric field*. The approach of opposite charges reduces the weighted-average electrical P.E. density, thus converting to the magnetic P.E. that varies with the *square of the magnetic field*. Translation: K.E.

I know quite a bit of physics and that is why I feel very safe in saying that you know only enough to be fooling your self.
The claim is for an "energy from nothing" system. They have added many layers of complexity to the explanations but when you boil it all down that is what they are claiming.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
If there was a lower state available the atom would fall to it naturally. This is a law of physics. All systems tend to seek the lowest energy state. It most certainly is not a non sequitur to restate a law of physics.
I have pointed out that the people supporting these claims have not stated where the energy comes from. It appears that you are accusing me of exactly their and your failing. You don't seem to understand that all energy must have a source.
"If there was a lower state available the atom would fall to it naturally."
Not all lower energy states can arise *spontaneously*. You use of the word "naturally" is erroneous.
"This is a law of physics. All systems tend to seek the lowest energy state."
They don't always happen spontaneously. Sometimes (or rather, virtually all the time) specific conditions are required for a specific reactions to take place.
ALL utilization of sources of energy will increase entropy in the universe.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
My use of the term "naturally" is 100% correct in this case. This is the "orbit" of an electron we are taking about. There is no bar to the electron falling to the lower state without any help from the magic catalyst, nor is there any means by which the magic catalysts can function. This is not a question of chemical reactions it is a question of the energy states of an electron. This makes it far easier to see that the calims on the site are nonsense.
You don't know what the fuck a magic catalyst is. Those don't exist! Therefore your statement that, "There is no bar to the electron falling to the lower state without any help from the magic catalyst, nor is there any means by which the magic catalysts can function." is 100% meaningless. Why are you talking about "magic" anyway - dumbass!
The word magic has a meaning here that it seems you can't grasp. It means that they are making a claim about a catalyst that is outside of what a catalyst will actually do. I am characterizing their claim as being a claim of magic.
"It means that they are making a claim about a catalyst that is outside of what a catalyst will actually do."
When you say it is "outside of what a catalyst will actually do", you don't know "everything" that a catalyst will actually do. This why comments like this one of yours change no one's opinion.
"This is not a question of chemical reactions it is a question of the energy states of an electron."
You like to fancy yourself in false dilemmas. For example the claims are BOTH a question of chemical reactions and energy states of an electron.
"This makes it far easier to see that the calims on the site are nonsense."
Because you're another idiot who can't think for himself without "elders" telling him what is right and wrong. This is why your conclusions do not follow from what you state.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The fact that you are unwilling or unable to follow the obvious logic to the obvious conclusion makes me believe that you are either (A) a fool or (B) a crook connected with this scam.
Since you have shown your self to be unwilling or unable to follow the logic, I will post comments to those others who may be reading along.
The claims made by the folks at "blacklight" boil down to the suggestion that they have found a loop hole in the laws of physics. I would advise against any investment.
So would I. Save your money for yourself. That's what a I recommend for anyone with a brain. If I come up with something new, my income should come from somewhere else.
The stock market is a piece of crap right now. Read on Peter Schiff and the like.
"The claims made by the folks at 'blacklight' boil down to the suggestion that they have found a loop hole in the laws of physics"
Now this is a statement of yours I can definitely agree with.
They're claiming to be able to get energy from a fictional source. The "electric potential energy" you seem to beleive in is, I hate to say it, pure fantasy..
They will NEVER produce a commercial generator. NEVER.
As of the video, they'd already manged to convince some poor gullible fools to give them 60 million.
Their "science" is badly flawed. They're claiming to have derived energy from a phenomena that does not actually exist. If there were ANY validity to their claims the theoretical work ALONE would be enough to win them a Nobel prize. Physicists would be stumbling over each other to get in on the ground floor of something like this, because scientists LOVE new things.
"If there were ANY validity to their claims the theoretical work ALONE would be enough to win them a Nobel prize."
Usually there is a delay between the first time the validity of discovery is observed by a proponent and the first time the validity of the discovery is rewarded by a Nobel Prize, if even. The rules of the Nobel Prize also forbid posthumous nominations (ISBN 0-00-655211-0). So even evidence of original discovery does not mean that Mills will win the Nobel.
If this REALLY Works as they Claim,Keep up with any news on this and Do NOT let them bury it like everything else good,If DARPA ever gets any rights to this, We may never see it again.
Home size generators may be a good first step to ensure that this technology ends up in the hands of the people for the benefit of the people,NOT buried,E-Mail the Company and give them your Input on this,I Did.
