  • Amazing!

  • this is good to learn but pak mei is the one to learn to be honest or wing chung

  • Which is better?white crane or black swan?? LOL

  • I believe there are total of 5 styles that represents each animal: Tiger, Crane, Mantis, Snake, and Monkey (And another called the Dragon Style, but Dragon wasn't considered as an animal). And each of these style has their branches according to different interpretation of the mainstream. This particular Crane Style seems to be like the southern style, though I can't tell which family is it originated from.

  • Do you think your White Crane style can defeat me?

  • I used to do sado Karate lessons until my sensei tried to make me spar against a third dan black belt... I chickened out and was disgraced and thrown out along with my entire class. but omg that fucker looked so scary in his Zenkutsu-dachi stance.

  • @prankcallerpl0x What country do you live in and where did you train? I want in. haha

  • I would LOVE to fight someone using this style, just to silence my skepticism if it proved to actually be working or to confirm what I already believe to be true, either way experiencing first hand would be the best way.

  • LOVE IT!

  • I am not a master at all. Doing Goju Ryu karate about 17 years. But what I would like to experience is actually fighting (friendly combat) against each styles known master. Just the experience of it. (I know I will get my ass kicked 100% of the time) but still to experience the differences in the styles attacking and defending would be great.

  • He's tryin to do nigger poses haha xD

  • to anyone who mocks this as a practitioner i dare you to fight a white crane instructor he/she can break any bone in your body in one move

  • People who make fun of this kung fu style are just idiots.... The blocks in this style hurt just as much as the actual punches and kicks. I do fujian white crane kung fu and would strongly suggest, if you are looking for matial arts class, to choose this style.

  • i have studied , go ju ryu, for decades, now i wish to continue my journey into the full form of Fujian White Crane. The roots of my first martial art. Is there a school in Toronto Canada

  • @36hcupsizeandgrowing who was your instructor in toronto canada

  • Comment removed

  • @36hcupsizeandgrowing I myself study Goju Ryu and would like to know more about white crane and black tiger kung fu.

  • To all of you who mock this style, I strongly suggest you try and fight one of these guys.

  • @MrJammification

Yes, but that would be an exceedingly poor idea.

  • @MrJammification Tried that and was hit with a thumb in the neck. Then I knocked the old guy with a side step and chain punch distraction + sneaky low kick to the knee. It was a great learning experience.

  • @MrJammification The Gracie family did, search it up on youtube...

  • @TheodoreCao no they didnt. jason delucia did something else.

  • @MrJammification Yeah I'll bet it's in the UFC any day now ;p

  • @Chad01234 It is - Lyoto Machida. In case you've done your research, you'll already know that Fujian White Crane is the basis for Karate. The tension dynamic, blocks, reverse punches, and hip movement are virtually identical from those of original Okinawan Karate.

And, no matter what TV would tell you otherwise, most fights end with a few exchanges. A bare-knuckled punch cuts much deeper than any gloved punch, no matter how lightly padded and there are no mats in real life

  • @FoieGras I work with mentally ill violent young men. I probably see at least one to three fist fights a day - most of which I end up in the middle of. Sorry to splash the cold water of reality into your face but while I agree that Chinese martial arts hit Okinawa around the 1300s, the stuff is just worthless for real self defense against an aggressive trained fighter (combination stand up/ground styled fighter). You won't beat a guy like Jon Jones/Anderson Silva with it, ever..

  • @Chad01234 I smell so much bullshit. Yeah, maybe against someone like Jon Jones. Do you see those types of people everyday. Hell, most MMA fighters would lose to him. I talk from experience in actual self defense situations as well (not as many as you have been in of course). But seeing as though you talk the same "this style is better than that style" talk as everyone on youtube rather than showcasing any technical knowledge, I'm inclined to think all you do is watch TV.

  • @FoieGras You have every right to say that. I wasn't even slightly irritated because your words ring true. But, humbly, let me add, that as someone who detests, loathes, despises the BS on tv, I have as well learned to take that same attitude (just as Bruce Lee did in his day) and apply it to martial arts. Many arts are just fluff, or a classical mess (as Sifu Lee put it). And yeah - you are right about Jones, probably a bad example on my part. Btw - I love Machida.

  • @FoieGras Secondly, I wish to the gods that I would for once see true classical martial application in an MMA environment. I love Wing Chun, American Kenpo, Kali/Escrima arts (open hands version), Hung Gar Gung Fu, Penjak Silat, but as of yet, regardless of style, its always kick, punch, grapple, kick punch. "Our art is too deadly for MMA" is my favorite comeback. To which I always say that there is more to Kung Fu than an eye strike. Frustrating :/.

  • @FoieGras Thirdly (sorry for rant), I grew up near China Town in Vancouver, B,C. in the 1980s. I loved Kung Fu theater, watched it in Mandarin/Cantonese (rarely had sub titles). But I didn't care, I loved the artistry of Shaolin, and the imagination of Chinese mythology. Trust me when I saw I WANT a person like the master in your video to walk into MMA and show the world that Kung Fu can be effective in the right hands. Sadly, it just has not happened. Maybe you can be that guy.

  • @Chad01234 The difference with MMA is that you're in there to compete so you learn everything from cardio to opponent background. If you train 8 hours a day for competition, more power to you. A JKA circle insider though: Lyoto's father was actually approached to do MMA, which is the only reason why Lyoto began. He then changed his game to suit pads, mat, and cage. TMartists' PURPOSES are different. And I HAVE seldom to resort to brawling: comes with practice and understanding

  • I'm sure you've heard the story. Many Kung Fu schools went down to challenge Muay Thai. Almost all of them lost but Choy Lee Fut won! Now is CLF really a superior style to MT and the other Kung Fu? No! It may just be a good matchup (I suspect the reason is the unorthodox leading power hand and emphasis on quick combinations, which is the basis for many sport styles). Yet you don't see any CLF in MMA either. MMA is a fad like 'all fights to to ground' BJJ. It was 'best' until it lost

  • Btw, check out Eagle Claw Grandmaster Sifu Lily Lau here: watch?v=pL8xIx8zomo. Recognize 6:19? It's none other than Jones' winning standing guillotine. It's nothing new.

  • @Chad01234 While i strongly in part believe that to be a true statement the correlation behind the martial arts is not the style but the fighter. True 99 percent of kung fu guys would likely have a hard time against any well trained mma fighter however if 1 says kung fu isn't good enough it enforces that they don't know how to make it work. Kung fu is a very interchangeable art with the right mix of anything you can defend from mma.

  • @Einheri1989

    you tried and failed.

  • @Einheri1989 you try fight one of us

  • @laketahoe1969 lol if only ballet intentionally broke your legs, wrists and collars

  • is this useful for self defence? looks more art than martial

  • @Obsidian1392 It's all in the application, which, unfortunately, few people are good at. Same for Karate. If you want, look at Iain Abernethy's website for examples of how forms (karate's, specifically, but forms in general) have realistic uses. (look for "bunkai"). I hope this helps you.

  • this isn't fujain style its similar though

  • @SuperYooooo1

Yes. This is Fujian White Crane Fist. It is the original - from Yong Chun Village in Fujian Province. All other Fujian White Crane Styles are offshoots of Yong Chun White Crane. This is Master Su Yinghan, 11th Generation in the lineage.

  • i learned combat application for white crane, but never any forms.

  • I used to practice San Zhan Quanfa...

It has many similar movements in the

    Fujian White Crane Quan...

  • Great video and Beautiful Form !

As a Wing Chun practitioner , I can really see and appreciate just how much White Crane inspiration went into the development of Wing Chun - as the Wing Chun history and traditions tell it.Thank you for posting this .
