Simply the best ! My Polo has 1.2 TSI + DSG . 105 bhp and 17kg/m between 1500 to 3700 rpm, and all this for less than 6l/100km on highway .

Impressive how slow gearchanges are. My roadster's are way, way faster!

Maybe the gearbox's software is upgraded in the roadster...

in a smart you want t use at least 5 gears to prevent it from reving to high and damaging the engine. 30mph goes in 5th gear anything above that gos in 6th gar

Upshifting could actually be a bit faster

but basically that's it : anyhow people should understand that it's not a sporty

gearbox since this is a pure city car all in all.

So a slow up or down shifting can be accepted, but pauses which so often occur in traffic driving are absolutely disappointing.

@zmass Just to let you know gas is 4 bucks a gallon in canada. Right now I pay $1.04 per litre, almost 4 litres per gallon.

the shift delay is quite big, but in my smart i only notice it from 3rd into 4th gear.
