She is absolutely right if she was a male rock star sitting there, the sexuality in the videos and music wouldn't be an issue. Good for her for standing up for herself - as always. She was a bit defensive in her early interviews, but as she's matured she is not like that now. She is established and known and even though she still has to explain herself over and over she does so more patiently now.
@YanisBs I don't think the interviewer was being a jerk at all. He wasn't saying anything rude or trying to undermine her, he was simply asking her questions that related to what some people are saying in the media.
@ab211125 Actually, this is a shortened version of the orig. interview where he WAS being a jerk. He undermines her talents as an artist by insinuating that her fame is based solely on expressions of sexuality. He asks her if she thinks her sexual expression makes her a "good role model for little girls". She answers that the only role she's a good model for is for herself and that everyone else is the perfect role model for themselves... Yeah, go Gaga.
@the9thspade I'll have to look up that video. But I honestly don't think he was insinuating anything, in the video. He was asking question. There are plenty of interviews out there with different artists but the same questions are being asked. The media always asks these sort of questions because thats what society talks about, that's what the people want to know. Don't get me wrong, I like Lady Gaga. I just don't think the interviewee was implying anything negative against Lady G.
@owlandflamingo You should watch her interview with showSTUDIO, because she changed completly her opinion! She said she is a feminist there! Watch it, type "Lady Gaga ShowSTUDIO Live Interview Part 1" in Youtube! Watch the whole interview, it's brilliant! She said there that feminism doesn't has anything to do with man hating! :-) So she got even smarter.^^
This is my favorite gaga interview..she's so powerful when she speaks!!!

This response would be so perfect is she didn't add the "I'm not a feminist, I love men."
Feminism =/= man hating. :(
