Moises Alou was supposed to catch that ball. The cubs should have won the 2003 world seiries. I was watching the game at home with my son who was 6 years old at the time. We both went crazy! To this day the moment of the Konerko grand slam in The World Series is what he remembers the most about the 2005 season. The funny thing is, it seems my son could turn on the TV or attend a White Sox game at any time and a Chi-Sox player will hit a granny. I keep telling him Grand Slams are difficult to hit and World Series titles are even harder to obtain. Go White Sox!

I watched this game at Puffers in Bridgeport. There wasn't a person in that room who wasn't screaming exactly like the guy who shot this video. Unreal. I'll never forget that feeling of knowing exactly what was happening the moment it left his bat, and that fist raised as he rounded first. 38 years of baseball fustration wiped clean with one swing of the bat. The most emotional moment of my life.
