1.) the NSAC is the commission who regulates unarmed combat "within" the state of nevada. (unarmed combat = boxing ) and since the fight is most likely to be held in nevada, you cant just bypass NSAC. team pacquiao had agreed to "any" drug test as long as it is regulated by NSAC.
But many fighters have cheated the NSAC tests and many will continue to do so. Floyd is right for asking they don't just do "schedules" urine tests, but random blood tests as well now.
NSAC never takes blood for drug testing. You never know what's in these guys blood. There are many masking agents that are used to hide the use of illegal substances. Chavez Jr. was recently caught using 1.
I agree 100% Flint, and whoever gave this a thumbs down is out of their mind. Love him or hate him, mayweather and his Random Blood testing policy are better for the sport.
A lot of fighters who have been cheating, or found cheating, were discovered OUTSIDE of the ring. The current drug testing policies aren't very good.

Sorry man but you're mistaken. De la hoya was in great shape at 154 and Floyd had to move up in weight to fight him, which gave the naturaly bigger man (de la hoya) the advantage, and he STILL lost. When Pac fought him, De la hoya was completely WEIGHT DRAINED because he hasn't been this low in 10 years lol. Then both teams agreed that there will be a total of THREE TESTS during camp, but they will be RANDOM, and 1 before the fight. Pacmans team said NO because it will weaken them if they test too close to the fight, that they don't want any tests taken within 30 days of the fight.
THEN They pulled out the episode of 24/7 where it clearly showed Hatton had blood drawn on the third episode before he fought hatton, and HBO confirmed that the test was taken 14 days prior to the hatton fight.. so it proved that Pacman DOESNT need 30 days, that 14 days was fine.
So now Floyds team said random blood tests (3) during camp (both fighters get them), and the last test can be no sooner than 14 days before the fight.
So its really a rough situation. But at the end of the day, they aren't asking for much. They were just asking for 3 tests during training camp, at random, to prevent anyone from hiding evidence (which is easy if you know when you're tested). And no testing within 14 days before the fight, and ofcourse ,a test after the fight.

1.) the NSAC is the commission who regulates unarmed combat "within" the state of nevada. (unarmed combat = boxing ) and since the fight is most likely to be held in nevada, you cant just bypass NSAC. team pacquiao had agreed to "any" drug test as long as it is regulated by NSAC.

NSAC never takes blood for drug testing. You never know what's in these guys blood. There are many masking agents that are used to hide the use of illegal substances. Chavez Jr. was recently caught using 1.

Sorry man but you're mistaken. De la hoya was in great shape at 154 and Floyd had to move up in weight to fight him, which gave the naturaly bigger man (de la hoya) the advantage, and he STILL lost. When Pac fought him, De la hoya was completely WEIGHT DRAINED because he hasn't been this low in 10 years lol. Even Freddie roach said " I could see the needle marks in his arm from his team trying to hydrate him last minute, I knew he has no power". Give me a break man hahahaha

I think very Highly of clottey bro. I personally think he has never lost a fight outside of the MArgi fight (which had a swing round that he still could have won). So I have to tell you, none of PBFs opponents can beat him.

Manny agreed to be tested few times as long as it wasn' t x amount of days before the fight but will get tested same night after the fight is done. I watched an espn or foxsports show and this well known baseball sports doctor said any known steroids used today will show up on drug test based on what manny agreed to do. 1) the blood tests will not weaken ANYONE. Plus, floyd is subject to the same tests. So by your logic, wouldn't Floyd be weakening himself too?
2) Shane Mosley, Roy Jones, to name a couple, have used steroids in their careers. But have never FAILED A TEST for a fight. Just goes to show that users can cheat the system very easily, which is why they want random blood tests. Mosley was never caught, he confessed in court.

Bro, listen. They want random blood tests DURING TRAINING CAMP to make sure that they are not cheating. They said No, they said they want 3 tests during camp, but they get to choose the dates. You understand now?
Then both teams agreed that there will be a total of THREE TESTS during camp, but they will be RANDOM, and 1 before the fight. Pacmans team said NO because it will weaken them if they test too close to the fight, that they don't want any tests taken within 30 days of the fight.

THEN They pulled out the episode of 24/7 where it clearly showed Hatton had blood drawn on the third episode before he fought hatton, and HBO confirmed that the test was taken 14 days prior to the hatton fight.. so it proved that Pacman DOESNT need 30 days, that 14 days was fine.
So now Floyds team said random blood tests (3) during camp (both fighters get them), and the last test can be no sooner than 14 days before the fight.

So its really a rough situation. But at the end of the day, they aren't asking for much. They were just asking for 3 tests during training camp, at random, to prevent anyone from hiding evidence (which is easy if you know when you're tested). And no testing within 14 days before the fight, and ofcourse ,a test after the fight.
This is very reasonable, but too bad. No floyd is afraid to sign the contract to fight shane mosley (Who IMO, he will beat)

Roy Jones was on Steroids (proven) but never failed a test.
Shane Mosley never failed a test, had CONFESSED to BALCO use in court, otherwise they would still not know he used substances.
Vitali just recently admitted that early in his career he used illegal substances.
Vargas was caught using roids then later said he didn't think what he was taking was an illegal substance, because he had used it before and there were no bad results.
