  • quit posting about the dislikes. its obviously finger farts, its just over 1% and the buttons are right next to eachother. figure it out.

  • Four marriages. He lived the song.

  • waylon looks like he is feeling it.

  • 17 dislikes, are you KIDDING me? Who are they, Jason Bieber fans who accidentally stumbled onto videos of a real musician and got scared?

  • Love that guitar licking there from midway to the end. Sounds like some background music from one of my favorite TV shows he was the narrator in....can you only guess what it was? LOL ...my username should be a hint.

  • correct. and sadly missed!!

  • dislike people can go back to sucking their mommy's tities.. Waylon is the greatest performer of all time.. If you don't like this why are you searching this and commenting?? Please respond..

  • @MrThomps99 yes he is, # 2 is Elvis, # 3 Clapton, # 4 John Lee Hooker, & Bob Seger # 5

  • how many songs u think waylon played with that telecaster

  • 17 people are looking out of their rectum

  • @whitetail1699 Thanks for your reply. Soon I will finish an oil painting of The Highwaymen...which no one will be able to afford.

  • THE GREATEST EVER

  • KIll em ' ALL!!!--- WAylon!!!

  • Dislikes?... get a rope.

  • Waylon was a outlaw singer ; great music!

  • i'm with LEON!! let's russle up some dislikers!!

  • My goodness, this is good! I bet I've watched this 100 times

  • REAL country music!! Miss ya Waylon

  • 17 dislikes think taylor swift and justin bieber are "real music". waylon opened the door so that you "r&b singers calling yourself country" can have just a little say so in what you record. some of the guys i work with make me sick because they say some of these "wannabes" are country singers. i say if it aint waylon, george, merle, willie, DAC, hank jr and sr, and a few others then country, real country, is few and far between. not bitching, just saying. Hoss is still my hero.

  • i believe waylon's sound was the best in country music ever!

  • my favorite singer of all time!!! hands down!!!

  • i have sang this song to my wife a few times !

  • @bigrider2806

  • This vdo is from 83 overseas a year or so b4 he got off the junk God bless Waylon

  • that is look you in the eye my man!

  • Nice, simple song just how I like em.

  • This was about how Waylon looked when I saw him in the mid 70's. You could see the coke on his nose. Nonetheless, just like in this video, he put on a great show and he can really pick that guitar. Sadly missed. Love Waylon forever. sj

  • I'd make comment on his condition but I've been there singing the same song. Not as good as he's doin' it, of course...but I was there. The weventies was a great time if you could stay out of jail. At cody white country.com hear some of how I felt about our music. Then coe back here with a new appreciation for ol' Waylon. He was the Monarch in my musical Kingdom.

  • best ever

  • @Rangerett you got that

  • This is TRUE country, unlike today's bullshit...Go Waylon:)

  • LETS FIND THEM 16

  • Either that or hank junior

  • @Isabella looks to be either shooter or someone close

  • love it

  • @drunkinpainter666 amen brother ! I used to compare but finally decided to give up & just accept that today's "country" & waylon & willie's era are two completely different genres, I won't even discuss the two in the same sentence anymore. There's the real "outlaw country" of yesteryear which will never be rivaled and the country-pop of today which you can like if you want to cuz it's got nuthin to do with me, we have nothing in common.

  • right on brothers! he lived what he wrote and wrote what he lived!

  • Where can I get a mp3 version of this track???

  • @mickefrennessen if you download free realplayer and then upgrade to realplayer plus you can transfer any youtube video in to your library and either burn the video on to dvd or just the audio on to cd...better to use rewritable dvd discs for video

  • Still the KING!

  • If you clicked "Dislike" to this song.....come on down Texas way so we can open up a can of whoop ass on ya!

  • who the fuck would click dislike? dr. dre?

  • @RebelSon24

even dr. dre respects this good ole boy. had to been obama =P

  • hank done it this way

  • @drunkinpainter666 but are you sure hank done it this way?

  • Epic country music!

  • waymoreblues ill help you kick them in the teeth for checking dislike

  • this just makes me happy ha i can be superpissed turn waylon on and when i hear that underbeat its dam near impossible to keep my feet and head still lol

  • every time the wife gets out of line i play this and she stops acting herself ! lol

  • Does anyone know who the guitar player is to the left of Waylon (our right) in the red shirt ?

  • Does anyone know who the guitar player is in the red shirt to Waylon's left (our right)?

  • Does anyone know who the guitar player is in the red shirt to Waylon's left (our right)?

  • love ya Hoss!

  • Has there ever been a man that looked this cool when he was strung out??? Love ol' hoss! sure do miss him!

  • Ain't this the best singer of all time or what???

Waylon you're missed the music industry ain't the same without you

  • Thanks to like what I say about it, it shows that I liked and sang the Country Music, that takes in soul, if not, like other music, thanks, " amigo", jejeje, ¡ up the good Country Music, o.k.....Adios a todos.

  • Looks like these were in the last days of his drug use.

  • jk waylon is tha bomb jst wanted 2 see any reactions. only heard 4 songs of hes but my fav in always been crazy

  • country is gay

  • pacat ca vocile bune mor tinere, de la mii de km il ascult cu placere de cate ori pot, mi-ar fi placut sa-l ascul si cind traia, dar distanta a fost prea mare...minunata muzica!

  • No one but no one ever had Waylons sound, he was an absolute original. Nowdays I struggle to differenciate between Country singers and their syrupy nasal sounds. RIP Waylon we miss you.

  • @Gringepop

No one can replace Waylon Jennings, they broke the mold when they made him. I think Travis Tritt and Blake Shelton are close, but not there yet.

  • greatest song ever

  • nowadays there is no working together through the rough patches, there is just no honey you must leave the man because he is no good, oh he aint bad but he is no good so dont try work things out forget the vows that were said and listen to us rather than him and the vows that were said

  • one of waylons best, to bad people did not hink like this anymore, rather a guy screws up a few times and it is bash him and kick him to the curb, damn but i wish people could live like these great artists wrote about, rather this moronic mental America calls a man like this to bad and leave him

  • And what's up with the poster putting "Hee Haw" under the video frame? Is Waylon some kind of cornpone joke to someone? That's just wrong....

  • AMEN

  • F@ck Yeah Hoss

  • The music of Waylon and Moon will live on it just don't get any better this

  • RIP

  • I met Waylon, Jessi, Ritchie Albright included in 2001 I think it was in Suttons Bay, MI at his concert in Lelanau Sanda Casino. Pretty sure that was the year, but Ritchie was there for sure. I talked to Rance Wasson of Waylon's band the longest. He can sing but he sure ain't pretty:)

  • The guy on drums is Dan Roscoe I believe Waylon had just 2 drummers worthy of talking about the first was Richie Albright I think Richie letf in 80 or 81 but I don't know why

  • He did better versions of this, but even when he was at his worst he was still miles better than any one recording now.

  • Kiss Waylon's ASS Nashville!!! Long Live Waylon!!!

  • Waylon was my idle love his music nothin beats drivin tractor an farmin an listenin to ol country hits such as waylon

  • That is not Shooter on drums. The same drummer is in videos dated in the early 80's. I'd say this is about that time. Shooter was born in 1979, and was 22 when Waylon died. This video is well before Waylon died.

  • That's Shooter on the drums!

  • Old Cowboy, I wait that this where, it continues riding his mustan with the orizonte in front of his eyes, since will see an eagle when it flies, the freedom...The Country Man.

  • This GUY is something else....what a hell of a legend in his time....no man can compare to Waylon Jennings but George Jones runs a hell of a race with him but have to say George is the #1 man....

  • 14 Complete idiots if they don't like Waylon,,pure ass country.

  • Love Waylon!! Hey, is that Dave Grohl @ :23? Lol

  • I'd like to kick the 13 morons that checked the dislike button on this video in the teeth.

  • @waymoreblues Ill get the 14th one

  • @waymoreblues

    Me too, Bro!!!

  • @waymoreblues Waylon would have wanted it that way. If he were still with us he'd want to kick them in the teeth himself.

  • @waymoreblues it says 16 now lets get are steel toes on

  • I was about 10 and thanks to this man and Johnny Cash I learned to play the guitar by listining to their records. The day Waylon died was a very sad day indeed for me. I have seen him in concert a few times years back and he was just something to hear and see. No one today can come close to him or Johnny Cash. May they both Rest In Peace.

  • I love all kinds of music from all over the world, but I don't think I've ever spent a whole day just listening to one man sing. I've done it twice, and both times it was Waylon.

  • this is an awesome song

  • This Man, is the most influetional, Country Music Artist, I have ever known. I remember well, the day he died, I sat in my local bar...played his music over and over, and wept.

  • RIP Waylon your music will never be forgotten in my home [><]

  • I know that.... hard to listen to this song....

  • I wonder if Jessie ever got mad at Waylon for making her share her side of the bed with that old tele (ha ha)

  • This song is so sad, because you know the poor bastard has said this will be the last time many other time. And he will continue to suffer completly in love for ever. Saying this wil be this last time. Love sucks. I've been there

  • having lived in the period when weylon sang , was grace of gods tribute to our finest in american country music !

  • love country forever !

  • Betty Ford didn't get me on that crap and she ain't gonna get me off of it -Waylon

  • before there was Lemmy, there was Waylon.

  • Es de lo mejor, él es uno de los poco que ha conseguido trasmitir la verdadera musica COUNTRY de verdad la autentica NO LA DEL OESTE AMERICANO, esa no, tios, esto es lo mejor del COUNTRY MUSIC de TODOS LOS TIEMPOS...is very cool men ¡¡¡¡ is.....this tame is, love COUNTRY, this tame son, is the las cowboy son yahaaa, men big songwriter...go waylon,go men

  • als Waylon-Fan stört es mich, daß ich "the conversation" mit Williams jr. in der Kneipe dank Sony nicht mehr hören kann.

  • Saw Waylon back in the 80s....NO ONE can come close to him...(although I love the Highwaymen....)...Great performer, great person...God Bless him & may he R.I.P. and hope to meet him in the "great beyond" someday~~~

  • I love it when he makes that ole Tele sound like a train chuggin on down the track Waylon is the most versitle artist I have ever heard of he could do it all and still be the best at whatever he did no doubt Hoss is what A legend is all about he never sold out or let his fans down now singers come to Nashville looking to sell out.

  • @stakfan i saw johnny, chris & willie live, super classics & original. didnt c waylon but he is a legend also. luv d "Highwaymen DVD" they ar all legends of country & western music, dat will never die. their memories will go on & on & on. for ever kate, ireland

  • @seamogger SO lucky... I'm a little on the young side so Johnny Cash was already passed by the time I got into the country music. Sure he would've been so much fun! He's my favorite singer of all time. Willie I did get to see, he was really good..

  • I went to see MERLE, WHAT A SHOW!

    You're right...

    BLONDBOMER!

  • Hoss in boss!!!

  • @m Waylon ur right ol hoss was hittin it hard in 83-84 and even with a 1500 dollar a day coke habbit he still kills it like nobody else ol hoss may be gone but his music will live 4ever RIP Waylon

  • think ol hoss was partyin a little before he went out that night?

  • @MWaylon1 Ya think ??

  • @MWaylon1 big time

  • man i am going thru a Divorce right now and this is Exactly where i am in that fork in the Road Eff em..

  • @guitarbutt I totally agree with you. There are maybe a few of these artists today that I care much for (Joe Nichols, Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Womack, Josh Turner). I love Martina McBride, but they have turned her in to one of their pop machines too. Not like the good days when I was growing up on Merle, Waylon, Willie, Johnny. At least Willie, Merle, Kris, and good ol' George Jones are still keeping the flame alive. Oops, almost forgot another outlaw, David Allen Coe.

  • a hell of a rhythm ...

  • waylon you are missed RIP .. No one can ever replace you Waylon

  • not like that shit they play today fucin aint coutry a pile of BS today they dont compare

  • I love how Waylon just owns the tele in pretty much every song.

  • he is absolutely inimitable....his music is enough hard core country without going crossover..a rarity

  • @bunkieb00 I'm sorry but you've got it wrong. Waylon was a cross over artist before it even existed. Remember Waylon's real start was with Buddy Holly a rock n Roller. Waylon was Nashville's rebel and destroyed the conventions of Nashville by doing things like the rock acts did. Waylon made his music and the rules be damned "This time"was his first # 1 hit and he had been told by the folks in Nashville the song was a dud. Waylon was great because he made his music not "country music"

  • @MacDonald1 I guess you're right, I know that Waylon was a contemporary of Buddy Holly and that he was a rock-n-roll deejay..what I was referring to was that his music doesn't seem to be Top-40'd to death like so many crossovers have been since Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers sang "Islands in a Stream'...

  • Badass!

  • I know he looks rough here, but I'd lick the sweat right off of him!

  • One of the Greats!!!

  • this song sounds like a conversation anybody could have with their partner, waylon with his genius for song just put the words to music.

the man was one of a kind.

we'll never see another like "ole hoss"

  • He's the ONE!

  • this is almost better than the album version! Hes the only man who could do that, in my opinion.

  • Last of a dying breed. RIP, Waylon.

  • It just don't get no better than that ol Hoss doin what he do best

  • Great stuff by a great artist!!! The very greatest of them all, I love the man and the music -and I will sing it as long as my voice let me! PS to blondebomber75 -Willie is born in 1933, so he's 77 now! Hoss ;-)

  • @HossCurtis hi waylon been 77 and still kick but especially this new so called country singer thanks

  • 12 negative votes(6/6/10).so there are still deaf people on this planet

  • die Konsequenzen hat er schon geahnt, schade für so einen großen Country-Sänger

  • Never Another as Great. Ur loved and missed by many.Waylon lives in my Heart!

  • This music is fantastic , there's nothing betta than trucking to a bit of waylon Jennings ,, KEEP ON TRUCKING.....

  • Does this song remind you of something familiar? I hope that General Motors is paying the royalties to the writer and Waylon's estate. That's the song used on the Chevy truck commercial. If they aren't, what a ripoff.

  • The greatest. There will never be another Waylon.

  • legend.. go on the waylon

  • The master!

  • @dickassfuck1 yes he is and johnny cash is the godfather.waylons the master

  • I totally agree with all the glowing comments on Waylon. He had it all. Fabulous singer, songwriter, and one hell of a guitar player. My brother and I covered alot of Wayons stuff back in the late 70's, early 80's. His songs are great and nobody does 'em like Wayon.

  • its hard for me to listen to his music without sprouting a tear....you will "ALWAYS BE AROUND", waylon. You are a true legend!!

  • Ole Waylon is looking pretty rough here. In spite of that as Kristofferson said, "Waylon is the best country singer ever" What a wonderful voice, depth and feeling. He was also a suberb guitar picker, could hold his own with anyone. Waylon's autiobiography is a great read. I don't think he left out much, what a wild life he led until he kicked drugs and settled down with Jessi. Then we lost him way too soon. He's a legend and the best ever.

  • My little brother "waylon" is named after waylon jenniings! lol! then i have another brother his name is billy but my dad calls him "willie", and my dad said that their his boys! LOL! thats because it's waylon, willie and the boys!!!!!!!! Awesome job, i love waylon jannings singing!!!!!

  • truly the king of country music

  • sing it hoss! we wont ever forget you

  • R.I.P. Waylon . We miss you Hoss.

  • Long live Waylon!!!

  • Sort of like "the king is dead, long live the king!"?

  • isnt 1:44 on just great ?

  • I love that rhythm

  • if not the best, one of them without a doubt. I love this song, the picking alone is something else

  • This is one of my favorite songs. Waylon was the best singer when it comes to countrymusic his voice was exellent.

  • No one will ever have the depth that Waylon, Johnny, Willie or Merle have again, dead or ali
