Let's ignore the fact that Amy ever had that problem and consider how she's only a human and now some superhero of a music star. Her music may have shifted direction, but she's still Amy. I commend her for what she's been through. The problem I have is  that my favorite artist of all time has given up on his faith, pronounced himself gay and he doesn't want to change for the better.

Oh my! Amy was 25 and Michael was 28 here. And I was only 21 at the time. I think Michael's voice has improved with age. G- Daddy sings beautifully today and he does not even look like a G-Daddy. He has retained his youthful appearance. Oh, to be this young again for just a moment. Life was a heck of a lot easier and simpler when all I had to worry about was my college work.

@stan007ify I remember in past concerts, Michael acknowledging the good looks God gave him. When I saw him in October back stage in Ontario, California, he seemed more focused on the aging thing. But he does not look his age at all. I am 46 now and I find women in their 50's or older think that I qualify for a senior discount. Which insults me! I've had a much harder life I guess. But I speak from the truth here and his voice has gotten more stable with maturity.

I also saw Amy a number of years later for a Christmas concert at the Bryce-Jordan Center in State College. The concert was great, but Amy seemed a little more low key then I remembered her.  As it turned out, I think this was right around the time that she began to have problems in regard to Gary Chapman and Vince Gill.

I was at that show too and was also disappointed at how she was so dialed down. The Gary/Vince ordeal had long passed (she'd gone through that turmoil in '94-'95 when House of Love came out). She was however still reeling from the loss of a family member (or maybe it was long-time producing partner Brown Bannister?) plus her near-fatal eye surgery from which she almost went blind after her retina had detached.

I was very fortunate to have seen Amy in two concerts in the 80's in Towson, Maryland. Great concerts, great music, and now part of the soundtrack of my life.  Thanks Amy and Michael.

To be honest I am not interested in their private live's, it was a sad business but doesn't stop me enjoying their music which is all I am interested in. However I think Vince Gill is responsible for a distinct downturn in the quality of Amy's music output which has lost it's hard edge since her marriage to him but thats just a personal opinion, thanks for watching the clip

I wanted to mention that Amy and Vince had an on-going affair in the 90s while they were both each still married to their first spouses, before they got divorced and remarried. The whole affair, divorce, remarriage was completely adulterous and it DESTROYED two families. I cannot imagine that Amy's first husband (Gary) or Vince's first wife (Janis) or their children, are very happy about this. It was a very sad, regretable thing that Amy & Vince did.

Where did you get your information? The media, you know you shouldn't believe everything you read. It's true that they became friends while they were married to their spouses and through that friendship a stronger attachment to one another sparked, but they both stated on Nightline that they did not act on their feelings for one another until both of their marriages were over. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt!
