  • Hey, nice job i like, thumbs up from me.

  • Bounce level

  • you did not model this dont take credit for it it is standard for animation class at itt you dip all you did was learn to move the ball and move the cam veiw

  • went a bit fast was a bit hard to tell was it was doin

  • nice !

  • AMAZING JOB!!

  • A'no no, 1 star from me, let me just see to that.

  • thats physically impossible 1/5 star

  • I wish all marbles courses went like this hehe

  • hd please

  • How the hell did i get i here?

  • Simple but useful. Anyway, good.

  • this makes no sense using logic because the marble wouldnt have gained enough stamina and speed to go up the ramp after it went down the slope.

  • looks like fun

  • lol sonic the hedgehog

  • omg noob it took u a whole day to do this ahahahaha i could have done better with an hour

  • the ball is bouncing

  • Sick <3

  • Give the ball a checkered material, I bet you will be spending some more time on it to get the rotation... But nice work. . :-)

  • hey i did something close to that about a year ago in my animation one class, but my teacher didn't want us to do the same thing. so he gave us freedom to come up with something different for our final project, i made a gauntlet.this video was posted about 4 years ago, you probably gotten better since then. keep moving forward.

  • i give it 7 stars (out of 5)

  • and how many lifes did this took to render?

  • Congrats, you just broke every law of physics there is.

  • @SuperIke1000 xD Read the title!

    The program: 3DS Max

  • @SuperIke 1000 xD Read the title! The Programm: 3DS Max

  • Im new to 3ds, and i have a question. Everybody is talking here about the pshycics. What are they and where do you get them?

  • what program did you use

  • This has absolutely no physics whatsoever

  • @3frc4rfcv4grvefverfv when did he claim that it did?

  • @chavseatmydust no one 'claims' that they have physics in their animation, they just do and if this dude did it would look 10x better

  • @3frc4rfcv4grvefverfv thats not the point - his class was most likely for keyframe based animation which is a completely different technique to physics based animation.

  • This has absolutely no physics whatsoever

  • This has absolutely no psysics whatsoever

  • I see u have proble whit sport..

  • meh if thats a rube goldberg or something like that would a ball realy keep bouncing maybe try to make it a little bit more realistic? :-)

  • The physics could use some work...the gravity doesn't look right at all. Otherwise, good work.

  • hahaha cool !

  • Not realistic, because the ball was going too slowly to make the loop-d-loop.

  • If you don't mind my asking, how do you use the camera's like that? I know how to place camera's but I don't know how to actually make them work xD Can you explain or have a tutorial link? Thanks

  • did you have to render every frame and save it ?

  • very realistic -.-

  • *BANG*

Peter:AHH!!All it does is shoot you! It Doesn't make breakfast at all!!

  • very nice

  • This exercise was used when I went to school at ITT Tech for video game design and animation..Biggest waste of money hands down...

  • Not realistic physics, but otherwise nice.

  • why is the ball jumping at the start??

  • why not??

  • ?!?!?!? I did this too! It was an excersise in my 3d modeling text book when I was in college! The roller coaster one was kinda fun too.

  • Cool 5 stars

  • nice vid, i'd love to work all day on animations..

  • The looping needs a little more of centrifugal force!

  • cool

  • yea.. 5 stars 4 u..

  • 5 STARS for you...keep it up....try to learn more about texturing and rendering....it would make ur animation Perfect!! nice VID!!!

  • Why do people give this a 3 star!!! You try to make something like that!!! It takes hours and days, even months of hard work to make this, five STARS!!!!

  • actually Nintendo, this same animation took me about 2 hours (the models n stuff were already modeled out (if they hadn't that would have SIGNIFICANTLY increased my time. ^^..luckily all I (and the author of this vid) had to do was animate the ball around the course :3

  • where do you get models and materials? Are those models confidential? Can i get them too? I am tired to make and make, and when i can animate, i do not have energy anymore! Do you learn 3ds max in some kind of school?

  • @Nintendofan20007 lol "years" i could make it in 2 days

  • @Nintendofan20007 you obviously have no idea what your talking about. This could be done in about an hour pretty easily. There are quite a few things that need to be fixed with the animation not to mention the lighting and camera.

  • @Nintendofan20007 LOL the guy said it took a day to animate

  • @Nintendofan20007

I tried, I learned myself 3D Studio Max 13 years ago.

In 3 days I made a comet crash into earth, with lava-effects and water splashing out in space.

It's not a big deal, 3DS Max is a bit confusing, but bloody easy when you get used to it. There's a REASON it was so popular.

  • @Nintendofan20007 months? hardly.

  • @Nintendofan20007 I can make better so ... DISLIKE

  • @Nintendofan20007 Good times when we had stars...

  • @Nintendofan20007 ahh stars, the good old days

  • @tony8999 = (

  • @Nintendofan20007 That's probably the oldest Top Comment I've seen in a very, very long time. LET'S CHANGE THAT LOLOLOLOLOL

    Just kidding XD

  • @Nintendofan20007 we are here to rate this animation based on if we like it or not. it doesn't matter how much time someone spend on a project. if it's good it's good, this is still on hobby level kinda

  • @Nintendofan20007

    good old youtube hmmmm

  • @Nintendofan20007 hahahaha it would not take MONTHS of hard work!

  • @mfager94 Not to mention that this sort of response to criticism is illegitimate. It implies that nobody has room for critique unless they have also done a similar project. Don't like a president's leadership? Too bad, can't say anything unless you have, too. It also removes all praise that could be given. In short, Nintendofan's statement should state, "You cannot rate it at all unless you've done the same." Of course, I doubt Nintendofan even realized the full implication of their statement.

  • @Nintendofan20007 Well you see, these days we have these things called trolls. They normally hide under bridges but it seems they've found the Internet one way or another.

  • @Nintendofan20007 Maybe you madeanything like that, but I think you're exaggerating a bit with weeks and months!

  • haha..nice n funny..

  • very funny

  • Call it a funny reactor

  • ițm new in this things... but... how did u do this vid: :)?

  • increase the framerate in 3dsmax in the rendering configruation, then you have a shorter video, but a fluid one

  • nice but kinda unrealistic

  • When it went down the spiral, the ball should have flew off a little, instead of falling.

  • there were edges

  • I meant at the end, I didn't even think of it that way.

  • oh i get it

  • never ever render without motion blur...

  • its ok

  • INCREASE THE FRAME RATE!!!!!!!!!

  • this is nice, but it should have some sound! At least some music.. ?

  • Very very nice.

    But non physics. But nice

  • Hehe lol

  • how can i do a video like this with 3dmax?

i dont know how to export it into a normal vid

  • go to render(f10) and then set "Active time segment" and choose video type and name.you can change resolution if you want and then click render button

  • MyBimmer.. why did you remove my post? I was just saying it was funny how it took off with speed after the hurdles. :/

  • Hi i have just got Autodesk 3dsmax 10 (2008) today and i would really like to know how to animate!

  • The ball did take a day to animate actually. But everything else, not really =P

  • not too long, just a nice day of class. Check out my character animation. It's a WIP (work in progress) but I animated her doing a weird backflip

  • Dude, making this took you just one day? Really? I mean, did you create the objets also in the same day? I can't believe it. I could be working a whole week to get that. Awesome.

  • very nice, how long did that take you

  • not too long. figuring out the video post was pretty hard. but I got it down. Thnx for the comments.

  • nice, how long did that take you?

  • very cool
