He was rebutting that there are not many who live under bridges. He acknowledged that there were many homeless vets on the same show I believe. He even had the director of a large HV support project on his show to explain what was being done to help these veterans. Bill even supports the GI bill because he knows it's a problem.

My mother is a Vietnam Era Vet, who VA researcher. There are far too many homeless vets and increasing numbers (and percentages) from the current conflicts. The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are people dedicated to protecting our Constitution and regardless of their political convictions, they deserve our respect and the best care this nation can afford them.

At first Oreilly claimed, at least twice, that there were no veterans sleeping under bridges (homeless), and says if anybody finds them, he will take care of them.

Then when it is clear he is wrong, he says Edwards was dishonest for blaming it on the economy, not mental illness or drug abuse. And he says he will gather them up and send them to the Edwards mansion in South Carolina.

There are too many people without homes....this author being one of them...in this so-called land of plenty. I wish everyone would get off thier hineys and do some ting about it. I work a 30 hour job and I still cannot affort shelter in Los Angeles.

get out of LA... I've seen affordable housing as low as 6,000USD... it's hard to afford LA even people with wll paying jobs can't do it. it's much harder for those who earn much less.. but that should be up to the individual.. not up to the government.

Get a loan, that's what mortgages are 6000 mortgage isn't bad... Bad credit? get a parent or a good friend as a cosigner.. Still? join a good christian church,they help members get a new life. 30hrs a week is nothing... you shouldn't be even having time to sleep. Illegals come here with nothing and within a year, they have cars, homes, families... and you're saying you can't do the same? It's up to a person to make themselves a success. There are options for everyone.

Judgemental? Hm.. I'm not saying that they're a bad person. I'm saying, if you want something there's ways to get it. If one job doesn't cut it for you get two. If education is a problem, pay you're way through school. I'm only talking from experience. I once thought I was stuck. But, there's options here in America for all people to succeed.
