What about South Park episodes made since 2007 then? Regarding the animation capabilities Maya is a powerful and versatile tool for 2D and 3D animations as well. This animation contains low poly models and the lighting, texturing and render settings are pretty simple. Usually people start up with simple animations when starting to learn Maya. Even though this one is fairly simple I'm pretty sure it's done using Maya.
