It's not directed towards Amy-Lee in any way I think. Ben and two other guys more or less wrote this song for "The Punisher"s soundtrack, and that's brobably the reason why it's so "hateish", since *spoiler alert* the antagonist in punisher wnat's revenge after his family gets killed. =P

You know, somebody down below said that Evanescence's brain has always been Amy Lee . . . They're right. But I think it was Ben Moody, as well. I think they worked together to make Evanescence what it used to be. Whatever the band has become has been a new direction it's taken under the sole leadership of Amy, which isn't bad. New directions aren't the worse thing in the world. I think the band's new sound is quite refreshing, and I hope to hear even more new things from it in the future.
