I can say for certain that changes in your diet won't help you if you have got serious (pre)menstrual problems. I have tried EVERYTHING over the past 10 years, under the supervision of professional nutritionists. I reduced carbs/fats/proteins respectively, became vegetarian, vegan, fructarian, lived on raw foods only, etc. NOTHING helped, because endometriosis was/is the underlying disease. So please girls, if your symptoms interfere with your daily life, go see a specialist!
I have a craving for black beans and Spanish rice...and am in so much f'n pain!! I hate this time! It snuck up on me 2day : ( ... I get painful nerve lumps on my lower back and my legs feel like they got kicked by a horse : ( . pain!! ahhh!! Ok i know this isn't raw but it is all i have right now..I just ate some organic 73% cacao i think i am feeling a bit of relief just a bit better than nothing
I heard that flossing and using synthetic toothbrushes can actually be bad for oral hygiene and a good alternative would be a horsehair toothbrush and baking soda. Any thoughts?

I'm such a rollercoaster. 2 weeks before my period, I can see the monster coming on. At that point, I'm hating my husband. Once my period is over, I'm back in love! LOL Hopefully this month is better for me and my hubby;o)
Hi Natasha, just a note on salt. Salt is one of the most misunderstood substances. Everyone should drink half their weight in ounces of water every day with a teaspoon per gallon of sea salt either in it, alone or with food. For people experiencing severe depression during this time, it is likely that they are not getting enough salt and water balance. Table salt is really bad as you said, but it must be replaced with sea salt.
in my case, I don't really have cravings, but I feel really really depressed... some months almost suicidal... And I know it's my hormones. Great advices !!!!
