I listened to him for years, used to watch Fox religiously as well, but then I started to take a look at what he was saying. I started to research the assertions he put forth about democats, and realized that they were not "all evil, all wrong, all the time" as he portrays. His show never has rational discourse or debate on a subject, it is just him preaching to his cheerleaders. Again, please point out one of Rush's arguments that is not a Right wing talking point.

I realized he was a right wing extremist when I got out of the military and was surrounded by people other than just republicans. Yes, his show is completely right wing talking points, and that is my point.. Right wing talking points do not explore both sides of an issue. It is this onesided view that makes listening to him not a source of information but a single minded approach to reality. Olbermann is no different in motivation (ratings), only from a different perspective.

My son, dad and grandfather served in the army and they're democrats, as is my husband, who is a distant cousin of Ronald Reagan. Go to google,type in "obama's anti gun record" and it's the first result. A gun is a gun- same result so it's ridiculous to ban guns like the "AK-47". Have you ever shot one? It's fun. The supreme court recently had a ruling regarding the definition of the 2nd amendment in favor of the individual right to bear arms. The assault rifle ban in some dem majority states took place on how the gun looked. AK-47 looked evil therefore it was banned. I never stated AK-47 ownership is "criminal" - to the contrary I stated the opposite by arguing that they should not be leg illegal. Over 2,000 Felons in Florida were given gun permits last year - but that point is mute - you won't accept the reality that all felons were once law-abiding gun owners and their crimes usually start with guns.
