@joeforHistruth When you meditate you connect with the part of you which once was also a part of Jesus Christ. Its where we find peace and stop violence within ourselves. That is the true essence of meditation. People need to stop seperating Jesus Christ and meditation. We are in the same state when we pray..its the same thing. However, if you think meditation is a threat to Christ or Christianity, that's when you've lost both Jesus and Youself and have created an enemy.
@erfansvideos There was no part of you that was a part of Jesus. The jesus you speak of is not the true Jesus. You come to God through Christ, the Son of God. You come His way, seeing your wretched sinful condition and repenting of that sin and by faith trusting in Christ(who He is God and why He came, redemption) alone for salvation. No meditation will do this. Nor is it needed.

Instead I feelcompassion and love.these are qualities of Jesus so if meditation helpsme connect with that part that feels compassion (a quality of Christ) why would it b something bad? @erfansvideos Anyone can produce a quality of Christ, that does not mean you have been redeeemed by Christ. In fact when we do good apart from a saving relationship with Christ then it's our own righteousness and God considers that dirty rags, in the Hebrew that is a mentrual rag. It's bad because you are trying to be like or get to Christ your way, which is no way at all. Well I have it on His authority because He gave us His word to know what He desires.
