So, for example, if Ron Paul wins the primary by popular vote, the state's delegates have to vote for him. This is not the case in all states. the media can pretend he only has 10% in south carolina, and that might discourage a few people from voting for him, but when the numbers come in for real they will have to eat their words.
The more states that have primaries, the more people will start to realize that Ron Paul can really win, and that will only increase his numbers.

"Pennsylvania holds closed primary elections, meaning you must be a member of the party to vote for that party’s candidate (for example, you could not vote in the Republican primary unless you are a registered member of the Republican Party). @benshivd My state has closed primaries as well. Also, in my state the delegates are required to vote with the people. So, for example, if Ron Paul wins the primary by popular vote, the state's delegates have to vote for him. This is not the case in all states. Some primaries are used as a guide to help undecided delegates vote, but they don't have to vote with the people. Also, caucuses have very different rules than primaries. I strongly recommend people learn their state's rules.
