I have a feeling that anybody saying her new songs don't have depth haven't bothered listening to her entire new album. It's honestly ~70% acoustic, stripped down, sentimental songs. Of course it still has fun pop tracks on it (What The Hell), but come on - you owe it to yourself (and to Avril!) to give the whole thing a listen. I really like Not Enough and Everybody Hurts. Push is a great song, too.

I love avril lavigne! I've always loved her music so much and it's interesting to me how when I was younger I wanted to look like her old style and as i've grown up i've gotten into the kind of stuff she wears now! :) I think she'll always be the punk badass i've always idolized and i'll probley always wanna be atleast a bit like her :)

I have a feeling that anybody saying her new songs don't have depth haven't bothered listening to her entire new album. It's honestly ~70% acoustic, stripped down, sentimental songs. Of course it still has fun pop tracks on it (What The Hell), but come on - you owe it to yourself (and to Avril!) to give the whole thing a listen. I really like Not Enough and Everybody Hurts. Push is a great song, too.

I do not know of your opinion about Avril, I'm not trying to counteract the thought of anyone, but I think she was part of our lives. Please, don't get me wrong, but, when I was 7 I heard "Complicated" with my cousin. Since that day I love Avril. I followed every stage of her and always hoped she was happy and that her life was the coolest thing possible, because it completely changed my life. The songs, the voice, that incomparable attitude that she had ... listening to that song now, I'm almost crying: ')
