what a great band there guys were, shame there aint any "bands" in the charts now (or music like this) just the same old rubbish :( thanks to that old man Cowell .. he should know what good music is being (Fifty Two) .. the boring old copy cat, we had better talent shows ages ago and they put through talent!! he aint a clue about talent only money.
@MrTulip65 Yes, true and brilliant production by Chris Thomas, who apart from his brilliant credits with almost everyone big in the music business, also produced 'Never Mind The Bollocks' which is similar high energy rock
@TheKenfig I heard that Danny K. helped out, musically speaking, one or two up and coming guitar players on the punk scene in London, which shows that all this inter band rivalry wasn't as nasty as it was portrayed at the time...I'm thinking of the R.A.R. Victoria Park onstage row - that kind of stuff. And I never made the Chris Thomas connection, so cheers...I should have done, considering I had both albums!!
@MrTulip65 Yep and same sound balance engineer, Bill Price too. In my view Todd Rundgren wasn't good as a choice for TRB 2, as it's not the same at all ; much lighter. I think that Sector 27 made a much better album with Steve Lillywhite, who did XTC etc etc
