90% of the so called Tamil refugees who colonize the west, claiming persecution by Sri Lanka government, return to Sri Lianka with a foreign passport in the 1st year of gaining refugee status. To date, none of these so called refugees have been harmed in Sri Lanka. Does that not make it clear to people in the west that these Tamils are economic refugees. Sri Lanka population is 20 million odd. Less than 3 million is Tamils. Out of this little over 1 million Tamils in North & East. The rest of Tamils in other areas (Sinhalese areas)

In this background how the hell can Northern Tamils ask for 30 % of land & 60 % sea coast for them which is only about 5% - 10% population. More ironically when there are more Tamils living outside this areas in Sinhalese areas

My simple logic is this ...

How reasonable is when you demand for Tamil Homeland concept (based on 15 AD) when more than 50% of Tamils have moved to Sinhalese areas and the Sinhalese doesnot have any major homeland cry over this in their areas in 21 AD.

This country does not have a future based on any ethnic based solution. Yes North Sri Lanka should be nutured with Tamil culture by Tamils. But Sri Lanka is the land of all Sri Lankans of all ethnicity.

North Sri Lanka was tradtional homeland of Sinhalese early days. Also It is 100% true that North & Some part of East was tradional homeland areas of Tamils just before the Europeans came to Sri Lanka in 15 th AD.

Today in Sri Lanka other than North all other parts of Sri Lanka is a mixed of Tamils / Sinhalese / Muslims. More than 50% of Tamils have moved out from their traditional homeland to Sinhalese areas

Today 21 AD how practical is this HOMELAND concept

95% Tamils live in Government controlled areas. 70% of Tamil population live among Sinhalese & Muslims in rest of the country. There are more Tamils in Downtown Colombo than Sinhalese. CEO's of Best Blue Chip Companies in Colombo are Tamils. Tamils live in each & every corner of Sri Lanka & ironically they have a better life than Tamils held by LTTE

We should emphasize to analyze facts rather than quoting terms as "Tamil Grievences" or "Genocide" etc by media
