Like any country, Australia has lots of different accents ranging from British sounding ones in Adelaide to very stereotypical 'bogan' accents on certain parts of the East coast and all shades in between. The majority of Aussies are in the middle, not bogan but not English either so it's a shame that the bogan accent is our stereotype.

I'm aussie and can do both english and american accents, however the Australian accent is harder to pronounce for foreigners. I know England has a few aussie tv shows but america doesn't so they all sound stupid trying to do the aussie accent, I laugh when I hear it, they sound like shit - lol
