I do hope the BBC restoration team employ you. Exemplary work Exterminate. If this was built up into a whole story for possible dvd release they'd have a real money-spinner on their hands. Would that be possible to do?
I spend a lot of time studying the telesnaps and just work out approximate sizes of things relative to stuff I've already made. For example, if a Dalek was 1.5 metres tall and it went through a doorway which was one and a half times the size of the Dalek then the doorway is 2.25 metres tall. Then it's just a case of making the walls, doors and then adding the detail. Time consuming but it's easy to make animations once all the groundwork is done.
i was modelling this exact scene at one point for a possible reconstrucion job and i lost the dam thing when my portable hard drive fried its self
