  • Looks Cool!

  • Clay animation is so old now, I only wish Toho can release hopefully a full length Godzilla anime film, not linked to the series.

  • Does anyone know what they're saying?

  • Look like Robot Chicken!

  • Godzilla looks surprisingly good in stop-motion!

  • 8O WOAH!

  • ugh, stop motion was not kind to godzilla, glad they left this out

  • it's just a very old fan movies called godzilla vs hyper gezorah a giant octopus not a biollante vs godzilla

  • @DJgoji93 Nope, its on a DVD release of GVB

  • @mechagodzilla290 ok

in my dvd gvb hasn't got this scene

  • @DJgoji93

and who told you that? Wikipedia?

  • @DJgoji93 u r a fool

  • tentacle rape in mah godzilla movie

  • i think they took it out is cuz the way how its played like how its moving

  • Not bad.

  • This was damn good stop motion! But i see why they cut it.

  • Hmmm...I see why they deleted it. It stands out WAAAAYYY too much from the rest of the film. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE stop motion and always will, but this just doesn't belong.

  • @QuatermassMan By the time this movie came out, this kind of claymation was definately not for Godzilla vs. Biollante. It wouldn't have been for Godzilla 1985, either...

  • why did they cut this scene?!

  • it didn't really "fit" into the film i guess... not that i haste stopmotion. w/out it we wouldn't had clash of the titans, ghostbusters, fright night, and the original king kong.

  • That is awesome!! Harryhausen eat your heart out!

  • They need to bring Biollante back. Next best monster to King Ghidorah, IMO.

  • Nice as a stand alone scene, but it would have been far too jarring a difference from the suit-mation if it were in the movie.

  • Wow! Stop Motion finally that has to do with goji already!

  • holy crap! that's awesome!

remember, it was their original intent to do Godzilla entirely in stop motion. It would have been great in the original film, and this is proof of that. Suitmation is still great though, it's an art form of itself.

  • this would have been cool to see in a film yes. but the motion of the model is too different from the stiffness of the suitmation actor. it wouldnt mesh well

  • I'd love to see a whole Godzilla film in stopmotion! That would an awsome movie!!

  • that's awsome stop motion. i wunder why they cut it out of the movie?

  • some one had the alternate ending of this movie with the flowers everywhere - some one should upload it again.

  • I hope they use CGI on Godzilla 3D to the max-just like they did on Always 2.

  • I like it when they use some CGI but not all of it. Like in Godzilla 2000. Most of it was a guy in a suit but the scene when he's swiming is CGI and it just looked awesome. However, to keep with tradition they shouls never fully abandon the suit.

  • well, I think that the fully CGI Godzilla in Godzilla could have been much better to compare with the suit. What I love is the CGI touches they added to the suit. Like in GMK they added more snarling lips, flaring nostrils, and gave more life to the character.

  • Godzilla meets Ray Harryhausen!

  • Is there any stop motion scene in the final movie?

  • Goji's model looks like a Trendmasters bendable figure... and his plates are to short.

  • Too bad Eiji Tsuburaya, who wanted to film the original Gojira in stop motion, did not live to see this. He would have been proud.

  • Yes, he would be. He would've been able to see his dreams realized...

  • This looks AMAZING. Why in the Hell did they leave this out?!

  • i like the original godzilla, with a guy in the suit

sorry that just scared me a little

  • dude, thats just a test. not an actual movie

    :P

  • it actually was claymation

  • Stop motion uses latex rubber for the model's skin, while Claymation uses ordinary modeling clay (which would be obvious if you spot fingerprints). So it's Stop Motion.

  • they said it themselves that its claymation and it would be pretty hard to spot a fingerprint in the dark in which this scene was filmed

  • Go Biollante!

  • its real good claymation and stuff, but i'm glad they left it out.

  • That was good but may have distracted some people from the movie.

  • wonder why..it looks good actually

  • That actually looked pretty damn good. I guess they cut it because it obviously wasn't the same suited Godzilla, but that was a well animated scene.

  • Man, if whoever holds the US liscence finally decides to cooperate with a DVD release, they should put this and the anime clip as special features.

  • In the original Godizlla when they have some stop motion with Godzilla's tail hitting a truck. They also have a stop motion scene in Godzilla vs King Kong where Godzilla does a drop kick. Both of them looked like absolute crap but they were kept in the final cut.

This looks friggin awesome. Why they hell would they cut it out after leaving those previous two examples?

  • I guess since it's longer than two seconds, they thought that people would notice it, and so it was cut.

  • Ah. That makes sense. Still, it's kinda ironic that they didn't use it.

  • That would have been awesome if they kept it... Trying to make the monster king seem more fluid and organic. I love the Suitimation stuff but that was awesome! Ray Harryhausen inspired even.

  • that looked like torture to godzilla but hey he's thr king of the monsters

  • Wow. When I first heard they did clay mation, I was a bit disturbed. But that was pretty good.

  • this is pretty good for Japanese stop-motion.

  • I tought this was pretty cool but it might have not fitted in well in a 90's godzilla movie. Perhaps thats why it got cut? =/

  • what is this? GODZILLA ROBOT CHICKEN!?

  • not really,

  • i love this clip i wish they didnt delete it from the movie its so awesome...the animation the expression, the color everything.

  • cool

  • Go godzilla!
