I actually find it surprising that anyone still thinks there are clear lines between genres in music. Also, the Black Keys are blues-rock, not really typical hipster indie-rock ("Skinny Jeans"). Can't you just say that you don't like it if you don't, without attempting confused justifications for your dislike?
