VT's student section is pretty pathetic (Orange Effect? One thing I gotta say is that Wisconsin has some good fans, they stuck around most of this game even though it was already getting ugly by halftime. Infact the stadium looked 3/4 full at game's end. Looked like people were still having fun despite their team getting nuked by Penn State. While their team underachieved this year, I gotta hand it to the fans for going to games and having fun. As a Penn State fan, I know what it's like, 2000-2004 were pretty rough for Penn State.

The Minnesota game was a great one, I watched most of it. Unfortunately for Wisconsin, though, I expect 5-7 for what will turn out to be Brett Bielma's final year. What made the Badgers great was the superb defense made famous by Barry Alvarez (I think the only Alvarez teams to get smoked by Penn State were 1997 and 2005 by contrast if I remember right), who made Wisconsin one of the Big Ten's top teams constantly. Hang in there, I see a new head coach coming in and fixing up the program soon.
