I'm keeping mine, I've gone through enough exchanging etc. I got it to do online blogs, media reviews on youtube so it fits that purpose.
So, I'm keeping it, the low light is def improved, it may not be perfect but I will accept it. The HD picture to me is still the best out of the others and I can add an external mic.

But as far as I'm concerned, this had better not be a final solution. I will accept this as a stop-gap solution no more. The zoom issue is the still there, and yes it was there on 1.03. for me. Kodak if you want this to be a Flip, or even Vado, killer, you still have a ways to go.

I got mine today (tuesday), a replacement one with the new 1.06 firmware, it doesn't look as bad, don't really see the streaks like before but I need to buy an SD card to do a proper test wed or thursday.
The new FW 1.06 is up now! I will get it and report back on the results. I hope to God this is the end of this. If not, this thing is going back to BB tonight!
This is ri-Goddamn-diculous!! The firmware does nothing, NOTHING, more than change the number from 1.05 to 1.06. Lines, still there. Zoom darkening, still there! Are you even trying, Kodak? You know what, I never thought I'd say this, but this isn't Best Buy' fault. I am not going to punish them by returning this and making them take the loss. Kodak, come hell or hight water, you will give me a properly working camera, mark my words.
Did they say why it would take so long. I mean from the video it sounded like he was told it was almost ready to be released, but now you're saying the help center said mid December? Not sure which is true but either way sooner than later.
No offense notafrog1451, but I am going to wait until I hear that from the horse's mouth before I start freaking out. I never trust anything a low level tech tells me. But, in all honesty, they're probably right.
I hope this fixes all, or at least some of the problems, I have less than a week to take this thing back to BB. I have been trying to work with a Margaret G. since early this week.

The Firmware issues of companies been around, and they tend to let fade away for example MPVr, mpvr+ ahd a-hd+ Go-hd and action HD just a few.
Vey pleased with the ActionHD GVS. takes a longtime till a god model is made and that was how Aiptek was back then.
