This nation was founded on a capitalist system, and there is nothing wrong with getting paid for your work.

The video made a point of saying the bloggers were getting paid for what they would post on their own blogs - i.e. they are not tailoring their writing for commercial viability.

As an "old hack", I'd think you'd know the difference between getting paid for your writing, and writing to get paid.

Typically, a "hack" falls into the latter category.
