  • JPJ justs sails in lightly... this is beauty. Thank you!!!

  • Instant boner.

  • some guitarists get better with age ( Clapton, Beck ,Trower,BB King) Page unfortunately got sloppy. Sad.............he was my IDOL as a teen. Watch song Reamins the Same and then listen to this.....night and day

  • Lovely presence! fangs!

  • @francescaemc2 Pleasure my dear

  • @Conneyfogle

    it soitenly is!

  • Almost too good to bear.

  • The GREATEST BAND Ever!!!!!

  • that´s too good!!!

  • I love how the song starts fast and strong and suddenly, without using the great riff anymore, turns into the spheric sound.....great idea :-) !!

can you send me this version please or a link? it's much better than the tokio version where they fail at the beginning ;-)

  • lovin jimmys solo introduction.. unlike any blues guitar playing ive ever heard so clean, so understood, soulfully and well played.. jimmy page is the greatest indivisual to ever pick up a guiar no doubt..

  • wow, i am a zepp head for many years never heard this version before.

so clean, sharp & full of soul.

in fact, all that Japan 96 show is a masterpiece.

can i get it anywhere? please help..

  • @julymozart Better yet, google youtube to mp3 converter, download the converter, and then you can just download songs off youtube.

  • Another absolutely fantastic, beautiful, distant, bluesey, far out song. Fantastic playing. It's great on the album, too. I have loved this song forever.

  • me too please!!!!

  • can you send it to me?

  • on its way

  • That is pretty cool, i wasn't aware of that circumstance. Ya that dude (shaemus) knows his Zep 411, i've seen some interesting (and funny) comments by him all over the Zeppelin fans stuff...he seems to know ALMOST as much as ME ! haha! (i've seen some of his own post ups and he plays a pretty mean Page, too..)

Rock on Conney ! Rock on Shaemus!

  • ..ahhh..the set lists..ya man, you're not kidding. On any given night, P&P were slipping in songs that they only played 1 - 3 times in the course of the whole tour...such as Levee Breaks (once - 8th), TenYears Gone (once - 15th), Thats The Way (once - 12th), Friends (twice - 13th/15th), Nobody's Fault (twice - 6th/19th), No Quarter ( 3 thrice - 5th/9th/12th)...dewd the playing is SO hawt..I can't even IMAGINE how MASSIVE it would sound if it were Bonzo and JPJ a few feet behind P&P !?

  • i put down my head on the table and wear my earphone to hear. that is amazing. thank you your posting

  • Amazing, so good that I wish I uploaded it myself

  • Maybe the best guitar line by Jimmy Page.

  • First and last time played live..

Amazing let's hope they do a tour.

Come on Robert do it for the fans dude....

  • amigo..NOT the only time they played TFO. I have all 10 shows from the Japan leg in 96. TFO was played on Feb 8,9,12,13 in Tokyo(Budokan Hall). Osaka on 15th, and Nagoya on 17th. Totally blows - me - AWAY! Gig to gig, Page plays like he hasn't since 73 - 75. Page played great during the whole 88 Outrider tour (although inexplicably OFF at the Atlantic 40th? that SAME year?). He was also dynamite with the Black Crowes in 99, as well as fantastic on the 94 No Quarter tour. But 1995-96 was magic.

  • for the 88 zep gig his playing wasnt necessarily bad

but the his tone, volume, everything just sucked

  • Led Zeppelin's 1976 album Presence.

It was inspired by the loneliness at the hotels during the band tours(!!).

This was the first time, this song played live.

    And what a performance !!!!!!

    Conneyfogle, thanks a loooooooot

  • regarding the lyrics for TFO..Plant wrote the lyrics in Sept 75 in a beach house in Malibu California. Not only was he extremely frustrated that he was in a full leg cast and confined to a wheelchair...but he was only in California because he was forced to leave Britain for the purpose of being a TAX EXILE. Consequently, he says in an interview, " I was furious sitting there, in that wheelchair, Tea For One, I couldn't get back to the woman and the children that I loved!"
