It's a very brutal movie actually. You need to remember this wasn't filmed in 2000+ but back in the late 70's. Yes, it caused a lot of "discussions" back then. Nowadays it's just outdated we're all numb to the violence we see everywhere in movies and on the news. Like someone already pointed out, it is a classic, despite many flaws, watch it as if you lived back in the late 70's.

This movie was so low-budget, yet effective in 1978; they released a 2010 version of it; It's not much better, just an up to date rewind. Glad I bought it cheap on EBAY. Cult classic (1978) version........
