@smellytim First one sold in GE, second went in the fally party room with my santa when they made the first "huge" jump from 6 to 8m and there was an uproar lol. I really wish I still had my santa. Once Christmas rolls around again this year, they are going to go up too high for a f2p to make in a timely fashion. Then just inflation will keep another out of my hands. I can do about a mil an hour mining rune, but I frankly lost interest in the game.

I like the players who are dumb enough to comment on just how many of each rare still exists, they're useless items people, they are utterly useless, it's best to put your cash in skills and ranks in those skills.
Rare item hoarders stock up on these rares to make you think they're limited in supply, there are thousands of all wearable rares, as for edibles, that I'm not sure of, but obviously in smaller stock than wearable rares.
They can be dumped anyday, just depends on Jagex and consumers.

I like the players who are dumb enough to comment on just how many of each rare still exists, they're useless items people, they are utterly useless, it's best to put your cash in skills and ranks in those skills.
Rare item hoarders stock up on these rares to make you think they're limited in supply, there are thousands of all wearable rares, as for edibles, that I'm not sure of, but obviously in smaller stock than wearable rares.
They can be dumped anyday, just depends on Jagex and consumers.

There was once a black hole where rule breakers were put; they could never get out. If players who hadn't broken the rules wanted to visit the black hole, they could purchase a disk of returning from the shop outside the black hole for 10gp. To get out of the black hole, there was previously a right click option on the disk, "spin disk."
Reason for being rare:
The black hole has been taken out of the game, and the shop that sold disks of returning no longer exists.

Disk of returnings were used in Runescape Classic. sold for somthing like 10gp.
what it used to do was let people out of "the black hole" which was a punishment back in the day of Classic.
but they then removed that because it caused too many scams (people telling em somthing amazing happens if they drop their disk)
they have no real purpose now. and no one will have em except rare collectors
